There’s plenty of reasons we are getting smacked, but the main reason is Tatum has 15 on 16 shots, and Jaylen has 13 on 15 shots.

Can’t win if your best two players can’t hit their shots.

damn, that was a tough sequence.

tatum goes to the line with a chance to cut it to 13 with 7:00 left.

he only makes 1 of 2. then the nets with a couple buckets in a row push the lead back to 19.

There were a lot of poor performers tonight but Tatum was especially bad. Just didn’t seem focused at all.

100% agree but coming to the game focused and ready to play would help too.

Pretty much. Bad shooting nights get to Tatum. He starts forcing in hoping to catch fire and then he gets a little loose with the ball often getting stripped. Scoring isn’t everything in basketball. Needs to drive and kick if the shots aren’t falling. Now he did miss some clean shots that we are used to seeing him make which sucks. Not a good night from JT and JB with Timelord and Josh out.

but everyone has played hard since the halfway mark of the 3rd quarter. effort/intensity has been MUCH better.

unfortunately, it's probably too little, too late.

Tatum may have missed 12 shots, but the 4 he hit will look sick in his instagram highlights at the end of the season.
