Yeah, it's frustrating because that's all coaching. The Pistons aren't this bad on paper, i.e. the talent level. It's just an offense that continually doesn't focus on their strengths or adapt when something isn't working.

And another offensive rebound given up because three Pistons were directly under the hoop rather than being where they needed to be to get a rebound.

Well on the way to 40 plus 3 pointers again, and we are the worst 3 shooting team in the league.

I saw the Pistons podcast on yt from Ku Kahlil and he went back through Casey's career from Toronto until now. We and they were near the bottom in fastbreak and running, Casey gets fired and the Raptors explode in fast break.

It's easy to see why. You don't get three pointers out of the fast break but rarely. This is why Casey doesn't want to run, because he would rather pull up, gather around the 3 line and take 3 pointers.

He is the living example of "LIVE BY THE 3, DIE BY THE 3!!! Maybe he doesn't know that this phrase was meant as a bad statement about depending on three pointers?

And what's worse, the horrible 3 percentage you can clearly see is BECAUSE the offense is depending on them and this means many of the 3 pointers do not come in a natural rhythm. So many of what few made 3 pointers we have made we're because of them coming from inside out and in a fast rhythm with no time to think.

If Casey would run a normal offense the number of 3's would go down and the percentages would quickly get much higher. His dependence on the 3 is exactly why we are last in percentage, it's astonishing that he can't see this.
