When the ref suck this bad, it's time to put Bruno in and let him go "longest yard" on the ref. See if that wakes them up. J/K....well, not really.

Despite winning 8 out of 11 games this is a reality check for the Celtics. I believe the Celtics are now 1-9 against Brooklyn over the past two seasons. Brooklyn's a contender and Boston's an average team at best

I agree. They were just a really bad matchup for us. A nightmare matchup actually. Even without Kyrie and Joe harris. Why can’t we even get a guy like mills. A dead set shooter off the bench would be truly great for us.

Even if we had a dead set shooter, the guy wouldn't play.
Ime is stuck with the two bigs line-up so much, that he would play Grant over Mills if he was playing for us.

Its 33%, down from 37% last season.
Wonder why it is, that a young guy with confidence issues who plays sparingly, cant be steady a knock down shooter.
Really, its a riddle.

I personally think a can also be a greqt defender, energy guy, who will later use his shooting ability to drive into the paint (has done so occasionally).

I LOVE Grant, but playing him over Langford and Nesmith doesn't make any sense in the long run.

Yea, playing Grant over starting Schroder was a move I did not like. Go with your best 5. Think Ime over thought it there.

Regardless, this team needs a lot of work. Brad has a hell of a job ahead of him.

Should have started Schroder and Smart and pressured the ball from the jump---Refs took over early and let the Nets get a big lead and C's didn't start playing ANY defense til they got down 29 freaking points. Weak effort from the start, they went back to their old ways, no ball movement and taking **** jumpers.

Aldridge almost died awhile back and now he's dominating us, gimme a break, maybe he just forced his way onto the Nets.

Was he in his head when he dropped 50 on him and the nets and won a playoff game for us by himself? I mean Tatum was terrible tonight but this is just silly.

We get blown out a lot at home under this coach.

Smart played good.

Kanter was great with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in just 7 minutes. Then Ime doesn't play him a second in the second half.

Tatum and Brown combined to shoot 9 for 31 from the field and 1 for 17 from 3s.

Agree re: Grant, he shouldn't have been out there as much. I didn't know who he was supposed to defend, and the Nets left him open often so they could clog the paint and stay on our other threats. Schroeder and Langford should have played more.

This isn't a case of a guy being hopelessly ill on one team and then recovering to play on another. (cf Alonzo Mourning's return to the Heat). Aldridge went to the Nets, was judged too sick to play, and is back with the Nets now that his health is judged to be better.

If Kanter was that great, why was the team a -8 in his 7 minutes?

Well we struggled to hit shots the whole game. It would have been good to have some post up options, just to break the slump. The nets were almost daring them to shoot the 3 everytime, and we can’t even make them pay for it. 7pts 5rebs 2 blocks in 7mins is great. **** +- lol.
Plus KD getting offensive rebounds against G.Will is not funny. Kanter would have grabbed that.

Grant playing too many minutes in the first. He looks gassed after 5minutes. Why did Ime play Nesmith and Kanter together? Get torn to shreds on defense.

Not really when one team is elite and the other team is a borderline playoff team.

JB you're my dude but I'm just going to put this simply: I make the threads, I watched this game, this one was an AOS.

Also, Vegas literally favored them to win this game; of course it was a tough game but acting like they had no shot is absurd

To me and ass of shame thread should be reserved when they lose to a team below them like for example Houston or Orlando. Or maybe when they give no effort. Despite what Vegas said and that Boston won 8/11 games It shouldn't come as a surprise this time crashed and Burned because no matter who Brooklyn has on their team they've owned this all thinks the past couple seasons.

Trust me I'm disappointed as well. I said I would buy into this team if they won.The reality is Brooklyn is just on a completely different level then Boston.

What exactly is the long run though? Honestly at this point I think Williams may have a longer career then Langford in the NBA. It wouldn't surprise me if Langford Is playing in china in the next year or 2. As for Nesmith He's just unplayable at this point. He's a shooter that can't shoot.

Tatum was way too careless with the ball, so him having 10 potential assists last night was negated by the 5 turnovers. And that’s ontop of not being able to make a shot from anywhere on the court.

Jaylen has 0 assists and 0 potential assists in the two games back. That’s almost hard to do, complete black hole stuff.
