LAL/HOU

WB + THT for Wall + Theis

Following the deal Houston waives WB . Rockets essentially turn an older vet in Theis into 21 yr old rising player in THT to add to their young core of Jalen, KPJ . Lakers admit the mistake in the WB trade and try to salvage the season.

I don’t think LAL does it. THT is too valuable as he’s basically their only noteworthy youngster locked up long term and their only valuable trade chip.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Yeah no chance for Lakers. THT is long-term and Russ gets a year to play minimum.

I don't think he's particularly valuable rn, but don't see why swapping wb for wall would be something the Lakers are interested in

This is not an appropriate post on this board. You know this. Don't do this again.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

That's a weird trade.
Theis doesn't help the Lakers at all, right? 30% from 3, doesn't rebound

Hard to tell is Wall is even better than Westbrook, and if you look at wall's stats from the last 2 years, FG and 3p% is the same or worse than Westbrooks as well

WB demanded out of Houston, and we have Wall sitting out so we can develop Green/KPJ, don't see a world where Hou would ever be a destination for WB

Every year a new team hoping to contend trades for WB, and every year that teams fanbase is trying 10 ways to Sunday to find a new home for him lol, I think he's ran out of homes, on his current contract. Lakers need to make it work the best they can. Davis has to play at the 5, you have to stagger Howard/Jordan's minutes against Wb's, because you just can't have another non shooter with WB on the floor.
