Practice squad

Post#1 » by SinceGatlingWasARookie » Thu Nov 25, 2021 12:15 am

Who do we we have for our practice squad?
If we are are not sending guys to Santa Cruz, some guys need quality 5 on five playing time while other guys need to rest between games.

I fugure we are getting a decent practice squad together.

One guy mentioned as practicing with Klay was Dante Exum. I think Klay's brother too. Not sure who else.

Zaza was part of the 5 on 5 with Klay. I wonder if Leandro and Shaun were out there too :)

Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody could use lots of 5 of on 5 vs good players but half of the team needs rest more than practice.

Do we really want Bjelica being the center that practices against Wiseman. I don't want Bejelica getting injured. I am scared of Looney getting injured. Draymond plays enough minutes and does not need to get banged up in practice.

You could throw Kuminga out there as a center and that Would help Wiseman learn to deal with speed but I also want Wiseman to lean to deal with size and veteran tricks.

I don't think the Warriors have 10 guys that I want playing a lot of 5 on 5 scrimages.

From what I have heard, they aren’t using the vets for these. Young guys, player coaches & guys they bring in.

Klay mentioned in his interview that he had to defend Barbosa in the practice(s).

Exum would be an interesting guy to take a flier on

Is he eligible for a two way?
Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Chiozza and let JTA run backup point. Eventually maybe he'd stop trying to do too much and would settle in

Chiozza is on a two-way contract which Exum is not eligible for. So, who would you get rid of to "take a flier" on Exum?
