So after the Magic loss to the Bucks, Orlando no needs to go something like 35-29 to make the playins.

I wouln't put much of a wager on such a result.

Yep…I meant next season. My bad…but my pick of Fultz does indicate I’m assuming some things go unexpectedly well (his shooting & health) so who knows.

Fultz comes back next month and plays like UofW undisputed (except by Danny Ainge) #1 pick, Isaac returns in January at full-on DPOY pace (like right before his injury), Suggs clicks a bit better with Fultz initiating, Franz is Franz and our bigs just hold it down…yeah ‘22 play-in tourney, easy peasy

It will probably be Fultz.

Next season doesn't change much, IMO.

While I don't think they make the playoffs next year. I'm assuming they'll add in a lot of Vet contributors in their prime which will make this team more competitive next year. I'll be even more bold to say if they don't get who they want next year in the draft they'll trade that Pick for a Vet and future first.

I don't think the FO wants to keep this team in a "losing" and "uncompetitive" mentality outside of 1 year. Anything outside of 1 year of losing can hurt players and can give them bad habits.

I am concerned that there's way more optimism than is warranted for Markelle Fultz's impending return.

I desperately hope I'm wrong, but we're never really seen the consistent halfcourt playmaking ability out of him that a lot of people seem to expect him to step right in and provide when he returns.

Cole

I love fultz game and i hope hes a part of our future but with cole and suggs, i just dont see it happening unless his shot REALLY comes back. I would love nothing more than for Fultz to regain his washington form and see lineups with him and Cole (where cole can play the CJ McC role) or him and Suggs as both can play both spots interchangeably and can both defend both spots

But until Fultz shows he can be that guy, i dont see him being here long term.

With that it comes down to Cole or Suggs and to me, those 2 can easily continue to play together at the 1-2, and in that case im giving the nod to Cole at the PG until Suggs shows he can do it. Watching him in college, i kinda felt he would make a better 2 than 1 (but still all star level at either spot) and with Cole proving to be better than most here anticipated, i think he continues to start at the 1

Not a whole lot to be concerned around this f**kin crew of ogres...I don't just mean about Fultz.

Let's put it this way...

The Magic have four guys aged 20 to 23 years old who are all probably best suited to play PG... and yet they still don't have a certain answer at the position right now.

That's frustrating.

The kings have 3 pg who are 23 or younger and two of them are better than our best player. More depressing than frustrating

How many PGs does Magic have?

Fultz, Cole. Suggs, RJ and MCW. RJ and Suggs can play off guard. But who should we start? Fultz or Cole at PG in the long run?

We don't really have to trade anybody. But our Guard rotation is loaded
