Well, third time's the charm? We have to make sure that positive energy is our central priority as we navigate our way past this rough patch. We're not fully healthy yet but it does give call-ups a chance to shine. Communication on D and hard contests as well as physicality and strong movement on O are ways to get us through. We have it within us to do it.

1ST Q: SPURS 30

It only we didn't allow that end of Q 3 we'd be up by 19, but excellent start. Actually I'm not sure if we allowed it or if they hit a fluke Hail Mary because of streaming issues, but we've taken EIGHT 3s - EXCELLENT and made FOUR - DITTO, with Tre filling in nicely.

Great start by our backcourt tandem as well.

We just need to make sure the intensity stays high, and that we find ways to get to the FT line - no chances yet in the first Q.

Well, some weird fouls and non-foul calls, but we're going away from what has worked and we're also not running out to hard contest their 3s...

2ND Q: SPURS 52

Well we started out very strong, then wilted in the middle part going down 7 points in this Q's scoring but we did very well to close the gap to with one 23-22 and maintain a double digit lead.

We only shot 1-6 from 3 this Q, but every point counts, including DJ's 3 attempt at the end of the Q that got us FTs with 0.4 left.

We have to be careful because they outpaced us with 50-45FGAs and 18-14 attempts from 3. They're playing to the percentages of just bombing away hoping to get points from volume of shots if they can't do it with efficiency. Still, even though we lost but a point from our 1ST Q lead, momentum is fickle and can switch through sheer energy, frenetic though it many be.

We're doing great on the boards with 33-22 though they have one more on O so we have to make sure we're BOXING OUT. Long shots, long rebounds, be aware of the opponent.

Hopefully we can get Jakob far more involved as he is only 1-2 at the half. We're getting almost nothing from our bigs on O and it's putting some pressure on us to score from everywhere else. We do lead 28-16 points in the paint but we do need to open things up inside for our bigs. They more variety we have in scoring threats the harder we are to guard.

Be energetic, keep moving, push the ball, find the open teammate. Make sure our D stays stingy but clean with great communication and responses and contests.

Get to the FT line.

Make 3s but don't settle for one and done shots.

Most importantly, stay positively energized, relentlessly hungry, and poised.

We've improved our 2ND Q play and must now push for a big 3RD Q coming up to make sure we continue our great momentum and improve here as well.

Well at least Lonnie hit that end of Q 3 to keep us ahead. We weathered the storm that is the 3RD Q and at just above our average -8. Not good, but we weren't obliterated and hit the momentum shot to end the Q.

Again, PACE, POISE, MOVEMENT on O based on COMMUNICATION, PHYSICALITY, AND CLEAN CONTESTS.

Murray is playing pretty good but on the 3rd worst offensive team in the league, someone is going to get the stats, so the boxscores are deceiving for him.

He still makes bad decisions and bad shot selections.

Boston are bad. They need to bite the bullet and trade Jaylen Brown.
