Either Fournier is washed or the coaching staff has no idea how to use him. This guy used to kill us consistently when he was on the Magic and now he has no rhythm.

Should just pile up late first and 2nds. It’s the only “success” we’ve have drafting for the longest. Quickley is our best young player.

Knox was a team high -1 looks like he had a great game all that hard work paid off

I think a positive to come from this game is the way the starters played for the first 12 minutes… Fournier was getting his shots in rhythm, Kemba looks a little better running the offense, Randle was not playing as much as iso-ball and Mitch was cleaning up everything…

We really missed D.Rose running the bench offense and Burks should never run the point over IQ (which Thibs did in the beginning— big fail)…

I think we just gotta extrapolate that first quarter into a full 48 minutes and with time and more experience playing together I think we can do that

What’s crazy is Thibs is going to be on the hot seat by the end of this season too. Just watch and see. It’s coming

There’s nothing to fix here

Leon Rose is now officially on the hot seat

Welcome to New York

The said part is it didn’t have to be this way. Even with Leon Rose making questionable moves in hindsight, if Randle and Thibs weren’t joined at the hip, we could actually have been a good regular season team this year.

I'd rather watch us get blown out as long as the young guys are playing and at least trying. The first unit plays such a slow and ugly brand of basketball.

The front office is gonna double down on this **** sandwich and try to pull off a trade to fix/add to this, not realizing we don't have a top 30 player on the roster.

What are the chances Thibs makes a change like this?

the danger of making the playoffs early is you're supposed to go up from there. you head back down and now it looks worse. if we were just a young team and it took a few years everybody would understand. but you loaded up on vets and made the playoffs and now that's the expectation. you miss it now and there will be questions about the direction of the team.

Unless RJ comes to life, Randle finds his shooting stroke this offense is cooked. Team is built around Randle and RJ. They're missing right now.

Starters need a shake up in the worst way. Thibs has to stop being so damn stubborn

My theory is that Thibs is very lenient on Randle because of the COTY award last season (due to Randle beasting for a full season)
so in a way, he is scared of Jules.

Then Julius decided it was his time to have a turned, he posted up and held the ball, then it all went downhill from there.

Yes he only took 8 shots all night. But it’s a playing style thing. The offense is a cup of water and Randle is a hole at the bottom of it. Will drain us every time.

We have to move him.

Watching Randle off the ball is as frustrating as watching him on the ball

Prolly feels indebted to him.

Yep

And the odds are Thibs probably signed off on all of that too. It’s not like he’s suffering from the FO’s mistakes. This FO built this team around Thibs really and gave him what he asked for to some extent at least
