We did not! Sorry I have irrational WCJ hate but no we did not. Paid too much for Vuc yeah we did but that facilitated other good moves. WCJ was going to be nothing in Chicago. He might be great in a non winning team but he was never leading the bulls to the promised land and he was never attracting other players. Lol I hope the best for him but I was never a WCJ fan.

Low? Guy was utter garbage in Bulls uniform. Almost great as Stacey King.

uh...that's what selling low means. getting the least return because the player is at his lowest value when dealt

selling high, for example, is sam hinkie trading reigning ROY michael carter williams at the trade deadline in his 2nd season because he has regressed, getting a 1st rounder in exchange

Agreed we paid a hefty price to rid ourselves of WCJ. I’m not mad about it though. It was a culture changer. Oddly I like him more with the goggles it’s a really good look for him. Glad he had a good game in a loss tonight. That’s kinda who he is imho.

thats what happened with Oladipo for us. really blossomed efficiently after being traded. (that was dumb trade for us though)

Enjoy Franz. He's such an easy player to root for. Michigan is really missing him right now.

Wagner is way better than I gave him credit for. I have always been an Ann Arbor is a whore guy though lol. I’m eating me crow kid looks really solid. He can ball and will get better. He is one of those position less players too. Great footwork.

Yeah it was such a talented draft and he and well Barnes were kinda overlooked. He isn’t a 1a but who is at that position really? Suggs looked like a 1a in college and you got him too. Hell my hated WCJ and or Bamba plus Isaac makes that a team to grow if they don’t blow it all up. Orlando has always known how to get the beat out of big men that’s for sure.

The praising of WCJ and Orlando's young players sounds like Bulls fans in years past when it came to our former young players. The outcome was/is being a bad team with false hope.

Wagner and WCJ isn't making this team better because the Bulls don't have the off season they did if the Vuc trade didn't happen. Idgaf about Carter, he was not doing what he is doing now in Chicago, though It helps when he has no pressure on him. The trade for Orlando was about long term clearly, the trade for Chicago was for both the short and long term. Help win now and change the culture, which hopefully attracts future stars(Hi Jokic).

Yeah they needed Wagner and WCJ means the bulls record might be slightly better than Orlando’s and a win tonight would have been a “good “ win, not a get your lazy butts in gear win. Oh in 3 years we might be something GarPax mentality. Yup we gave up on talent, but got respect. Sometimes respect outweighs talent.

Steals typically aren’t an interesting stat, but the Bulls were +7. That means though that stat some they took away 7 possessions from Orlando, which is enormous.

Ball is great when he’s this aggressive defensively.

I hate Coby, but this was his best game. Looked comfortable on offense, had some mini moments of shot creation for himself and others. Didn’t try to do too much which gets him in trouble.

Wendell looked great. That trade isn’t looking good as Wagner looks great too and would be perfect at the 4 for this team.

Demar got his shooting touch back, which is critical.
If they can win tomorrow, all of a sudden the garbage basketball from earlier in the week will be out of people’s minds.

coby was great, not good. if this is what he's been working on before the injury then wendell isnt the only player who looks totally different. and i know he's under performed as a rookie and the little he did play this season but patrick williams is still on the roster. he still can play. im more afraid of him then vuc.

vuc is out of shape and legs need to be up to standard but im sure he will get there within a month. patrick williams now needs to come back a new man. I feel like he will be back earlier than said. they just said season ending injury to keep bulls fans from checking his status every single hour i bet the more this team wins he will start to open up about it more.

im beginning to put confidence in ayo. he's slowed down on the shot attempts and wild plays. making the extra pass. that was his problem so far. coby looked like a new player. i was suprised he didnt try to do to much. his defense was just as good as lonzo today. i would like to see him continue to do this for a string of games before i give him to much credit.

Yeah Wendell had a decent game, but his team lost by 35 points. He's good but he's benefiting being on a lottery team and getting a lot of touches. If we still had him we definitely be in the same boat the Magic are in now and that gives me chills and not the good kind of chills either lol

He was raw to begin with got injured and came back to a whole new team. Somewhat expected he wasn’t going to be great out of the gates like any human would. Vuc has work to do too and Pat has a ton, but if they can keep working all have ability to raise their performance. Will they? Well that’s why we watch.

WCJ played a good game tonight but I wouldn’t let it fool anyone. His per 36 numbers this year are pretty much consistent with his Bull years. The only difference is that he seems to have found a 3 point stroke. Other than that he hasn’t changed his game at all and he’ll go on to have a long long career as a bottom 10 starting centre. Throughly mediocre.

Exactly. He’s a #1 option w Anthony out.

Heat and Hornets games will be a good measuring stick.

Give me good Coby and normal Vuc in another 7 games and I think we will be going on a 10 game winning streak.

The Indiana and Houston still left a bittertaste in my mouth. Especially the Houston loss.

Let's go play Miami.

not sold on Isaac. and Bamba putting up empty stats. he is still boneheaded and continues to make bad decisions to go along with questionable motor. i mean, look how fast they extended WCJ (rightfully or wrongfully) and Bamba still waiting

you guys got a good squad going right now. be interesting to see the noise you can make

The course Orlando is on was the same course garpax had us on before AK came and finally changed the direction and potential of the franchise. They will sell the magic fans hope until they realize the young core they have is not producing the generational talent that is needed to raise the expectations of the franchise. Once they realize this they will simply consolidate their pieces for a star on the move and try to build some kind of competitor. That franchise like ours for years, is hanging back hoping to strike gold in the draft. Right now they simply grabbing bronze and silver guys.

Needed this blowout W badly. There’s not much separating us from a play-in game right now, so we need to maintain any standings cushion we can.

The Indiana loss was understandable but tough, however the Houston one stung a lot. No excuses there. Truth be told the team has looked out of sorts since the Portland game, playing extremely inconsistent basketball & grinding out close wins against the Nuggets & Knicks.

Tonight snapped us back into focus in a major way. I was getting ready to be concerned but winning by 35 can hide sins. We are healthy heading into a showdown against Miami for sole possession of 2nd place in the East. Life is good again.

Return to Chicago Bulls
