LeBron James Fined For Obscene Gesture During Win At Pacers

LeBron James has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture on the playing court and warned for using profane language during media availability in response to league imposed discipline.

The incident occurred with 1:17 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 124-116 overtime win against the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 24 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

"When obscene gestures and language come into it, (it) can’t be tolerated," James said. "There's a difference from cheering for your team and not wanting the other team to win and things I would never say to a fan and they shouldn't say to me."

Despite being a Pacers fan (and certainly not a James fan), I can actually understand James' reaction. I had to look pretty hard to find why he did it, but apparently James claimed that a woman at the game essentially said that she hoped his son would die.... Not cool. I would've cussed her out too.
