Without a doubt. You would have be as blind by the hate as the blind witnesses are blinded by their love of their man.

To be fair to AD LeBron's choices were Kawhi or playing in Philly with Embiid.

AD is AC Green/Karl Malone compared to those players.

possibly just barely. lakers stink. anyone who knows basketball could've predicted how mediocre they would be. throwing together a bunch of washed up, past prime big names is not a real superteam. they have zero chance to win the west.

The bad news from LBJ's perspective, is outside the paint, he's been fairly average his whole career, so if he's not forearm smashing his way to the rim a good amount, then things are only going to get worse.

Offensively he still has flashes and can turn it on in spurts. But he’s much more of a jump-shooter now and relies on the refs to give him calls when he drives.

Definitely still top-10 though due to his ability to turn it on at times.

he's been taking entire seasons off on defense for years now. He'll put in the occasional highlight effort just to keep ESPN fooled,. More shocking to me is AD's absolute decline, like he aged 10 years since the trophy and has zero interest in mixing it up. Lebron thought THIS GUY was going to carry him?

Exactly. Its crazy how Bleacher, ESPN and his paid stans and influencers manage to keep a myth alive when we see it right before our eyes that he doesnt even cross half court back on D. Whatever numbers they bring up cant make me believe that 4-5 defense is efficient and something that LeBron "provides". Its rather that some elite team mates covered up for him for years now...but now that he has Melo and Westbrick as partners of choice and AD cnat cover up for all of them its being painfully obvious.

But no worries, i'm sure our regulars will soon be here for the rescue and explain how he is both in the running for MVP and DPOY.

I feel like LeBron would be best served as a 2nd/3rd option at this point and honestly, when they acquired Anthony Davis, I was pretty confident he'd be able to make that transition but AD has been nothing short of disappointing and Pelinka traded away all of their depth for RWB.

Awful situation, OT Father Time is undefeated and LeBron is now a Top 10 player rather than a Top 3 or 5.

He's looking tired, chucking 3s at this rate is a red flag. Could argue its to avoid injury but its likely just easier. When the tide turns, it can be quick.

If we talking right now - this season I don’t see how you have 10 guys ahead of him. If you not looking at stats and just giving your opinion ok...but there are guys in the list of guys that y’all say are better than him that are below him in points, FG % at every level including the line, with lower per less rebounds and takes more shots. As a wizards fan, I hate Lebron but come on....there are not 10 guys that have played better than him this year.

Yall saying Father Time caught up with Lebron, while at the same time giving young guys that are having a worse year than him, THIS YEAR, a pass and saying THEY are better than him?

How does that make sense?

Give us 10 guys having a better year than him, that ARE ALSO having a better than Lebron....currently.

It’s a ridiculous double standard and one that doesn’t stand up under reasonable analysis.

Of course some of the young guns gonna be better eventually but until that actually happens how can they currently be better than Lebron when they all playing in the same league?

Inarguably top 8. If you voted not top 15 you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Small sample size but he is avg. 25-6-5 on 47% shooting. Not too bad for a player in his 19th season.

Definitely NOT in my top 5. I think he's 8-12... but it's very fluid between 8-12, where any one of the 8-12 can be 8th or 12th depending on what they're doing.

1. Jokic
2. Durant
3. Giannis
4. Doncic
5. Curry
6. Kawhi (healthy Kawhi switches places with Curry or Doncic)
7. Embiid

The rest:
Lebron
Harden
Lillard
Butler
AD

I get your point because it's hard to count Lebron out but at the same time you have to take a look at how easily these young players are dominating.

I'm not saying all these guys are better than Lebron btw.

Curry, Luka, Mitchell, Booker, Murray, Trae, Jokic, Kawhi, KD, Giannis, Tatum. Look at their playoff performances. Some of these guys are putting up huge all-around 40 point games like 3 times in a playoff series.

Lebron can't do "Cleveland Lebron" anymore. He consistently gets outplayed by the opposing teams best player. These young guys are so explosive offensively, it's so easy for them to take over games and Lebron is just not there anymore.

I didn't expect much last year but we couldn't even get vintage Lebron for 1 freaking game.

I know that it feels "weird" to put some of these players over Lebron because of respect but It has to happen at some point.

Really?? Last year in the Finals Giannis averaged 35, 13, and 5 on 61% shooting. Against the Suns in the playoffs last year Lebron averaged 23, 8, and 7 on 47% shooting.

The thing I don't get about this thread is how people can have James Harden ranked ahead of Lebron. They took away BS calls, Harden is older and he hasn't done the best job of taking care of his body. I trust Lebron in the playoffs a lot more than I trust Harden.

The only players I have ranked ahead of Lebron are Giannis, Durant, Kawhi, Steph, Jokic, Embiid, and Doncic. I think Lebron is pretty clearly the 8th best player in the league.

I need to see him at least trying to get to the hole with his spin moves in a half court set. If that's gone, then he seriously should not be living in the perimeter.

The New rules have not been helping him either. It is a bit harder for him to score in the paint now
