Chet will be all about potential because of his size, but his skillset is nutty. Someone said he compared favorably to Evan Mobley at the same stage. Chet has more guard skills, but he's also like 30lb lighter which is wild.

The question is does he have the physicality or the athleticism to put those ball skills to use and have them translate against the better competition. Its one thing to show off those skills against really inferior opposition. But can he put the ball down and create against NBA size and athleticism? Because so far when he has gone against legit starting front courts (Texas and Duke), he really wasn't able to show off any of his skills. He couldn't put the ball down and create with consistency against those teams.

I know this is an extreme comparison, but people thought the Maker's all had nutty skillsets. They were handling the ball out on the perimeter in high school and doing pull up 3s. But its one thing to do that against high school competition, its another to do it against legit competition. Still waiting to see if Chet has the athleticism/physicality where he can actually use those skills against legit competition.

I mean Chet needs to live in the weight room for the next two years. Dude strikes me as someone who will be injured alot though.

Something is fishy at UWM. A senior was suspended and PBJ hasnt played since with an ankle injury. I can't believe how bad they are since I was rooting for a feel good story of PBJ leading them to the tourney against the big boys. Wouldn't be shocked if PBS is canned at the break and PBJ just focuses on the draft. Don't think he is getting better playing school.

Something fishy happening in this whole situation would be incredibly unsurprising all-around.

Not much of a surprise overall I don’t think, but Big Ten is leading ACC so far, 6-2. ACC needs to sweep all 6 games Wednesday to win. They just do not have the depth past Duke this season.

Kinda funny how it’s swung the part couple decades. ACC started the series 10-0; it’s now 12-7-3.

Weekly UWM update: Epic disaster. Wouldn't be totally shocked if Baldwin Sr is fired at the break and PBJ "works on his game" for the draft. They are 2-8 and RPI is 340 out of 358 and 2 wins are against Robert Morris (344) and North Dakota (329). oof

Giving PBJ a break since he is so young but kind of crazy to see go back and look at expectations for Giannis as a rookie. At this point in December, he put up 15/8 against the Spurs. PBJ went 1-8 against Rhode Island.

The ACC is down to one single ranked team - #2 Duke. Might have been the case last week, too, but just noticed. There's otherwise pretty good distribution between B10, SEC, Big East, and B12. Good parity.

I wish they could go back and run that test on Patrick Ewing. 7 pounds during just the layup line, guaranteed.

The last two unbeatens - USC and Baylor - both fall in back-to-back games on ESPN. Lots of (good, IMO) parity in college ball this year.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
