Ok I kinda defended Chryst and am OK with a conservative punting game plan from him given the team make up, but that near punt was fireable.

This is funny, in a pathetic way. Just makes me thankful, even in bad years, that I’m not a Minnesota fan.

Mertz throwing the ball 38 times is not a recipe for winning football.

Turning point was right after the Pick 6. First we do the stupid pop up kick that gives them the ball at the 33. Then an all out blitz on 2 and 9 which turns into a 36 yard gain. Not a fan.

Allen had to have been playing on a bad wheel. He just had to be.

Agree on that whole sequence. I assumed we’d stop them in their own territory and go for 17-3 after that.

so many "damn them" moments directed at our team. While the defense played fine most of the time, they gave up a ton of chunk plays--5 different receivers had catches of 18+ yards while ZERO badger plays gained 18+ yards. The offense did nothing. Mertz started 5-5, and then was 16-33 the rest of the way, with short yards per catch.
Yet they were up at the half and still had a chance to win after losing the lead.
Really disappointing. They had a chance to beat Michigan (though not if they played like this), and they would have gone to a much better bowl.

the jet sweep should be a regular thing (2-4 times a game), to keep the defenses guessing.
