He does so many little things at an elite level. His hands like you said, running the fast break, passing downcourt, predicting passing lanes. All these things add up. Combine that with his elite defense and great 3 pt shooting, and you have one hell of a player.

You know what would make him elite? If he learnt how to finish around the basket. Because he can get to the paint, but seems hesitant to do so because he is just shockingly bad inside the paint.

Agreed. Some games he shows flashes where he gets to the rim extremely fast. If he could just improve his finishing and maybe add a floater, it would be awesome. I think it's totally possible.

Yep. A lot of times he will go for the assist when he can just go for the layup, because I don't think he trusts himself to finish it with the risk of a defender closing in. It's really frustrating, but a known weakness of his when he signed.

If I was a Heat fan, I wouldn’t be loving the Duncan Robinson contract. His value is his ability to shoot, and this season he’s at 33.7% 3P and 51.6% TS to the tune of >15M.

Seriously, if the Heat is the bar as far elite Eastern conference teams go, I’m feeling pretty good because I think we match up pretty well with them.

They’ve been together a while, we haven’t. Our best basketball is going to come around February I think. We aren’t even close to coming together, as far as chemistry goes.
Why so serious?

Before Jimmy got there he missed the playoffs in 3 of the last 5 seasons. Probably Nick Nurse, Quin Snyder, Pop, Steve Kerr.

Lonzo is a little more versatile with his length and ability to play passing lanes.

There currently isn’t a coach that is without debate, better. Spo has proven himself the past few seasons to be top tier. Pop, at this point gets by on rep. I personally like Nick Nurse if I could pick a coach for my team

Miami looks like a more competent team, but the score is nice and close.

Don’t know about ahead, but I’d put the following in the conversation:

Pops
Carlisle
Kerr
Thibs
Nurse

Snyder is a good one. I was screaming for him as a coach when he was at Mizzou. Really really good coach.

Javonte is like a smaller Gerald Wallace. Just falling all over the place with reckless abandon
I'm not here to argue.

Caruso is #2 in the NBA with 75 deflections. So you would be mistaken in thinking that.

I'm mistaken in Lonzo having more length? Go play with someone else, bozo, I'm trying to enjoy the game.

how many games do you think vuc would have to suck for before stacey stopped saying the key to the game is to get him the ball in the post? i’m thinking he might start to question himself after two full seasons but i’m not sure that’d be enough to get him to abandon it as a talking point

You don’t think he’s proven to be “top tier” the “past few seasons”?……

They both occupy the same space on the court and jommy is more physically dominant in that space. I feel all the criticism the bulls got for the potential fit with zach and DDR actually would apply with Jimmy and DDR as teammates.
