Knicks - Hawks PG: This is what effort looks like

Post#1 » by GONYK » Sun Nov 28, 2021 2:43 am

The team came to play tonight and we saw the reason we prioritized perimeter playmakers.

Burks did a phenomenal job against Trae on both ends.

We ran things through our guards and it looked pretty damn good.

IQ looking like a stud. On both ends.

Julius stayed within the flow and stayed mostly locked in on D.

RJ and Evan rounded out strong perimeter play. Fournier with a bunch of momentum saving 3's.

Grimes and Sims really made the most of their minutes too.

PHENOMENAL DEFENSE

Tom, it may be time to have that talk about about Kemba.

letting guards be guards = our best games

letting randle walk the ball up and play iso or play post on a guard switch = bad basketball

Randle had a shat offensive game and we won. Guess that's what the FO wanted, a team that could do that.

ATL wasn't showboating tonight. Too bad. Pound sand.

Good closeout defense to end this game.

I don’t agree with that final lineup but a win is a win.

IQ's defensive intensity on Trae was great. He couldn't get into his comfort zone. Love the effort tonight.

Good team win. Everybody decided to show up, even Randle did not force as much.

Any win against Atlanta is good.

Grimes is the man, his defense set a tone

Burks saved us again

IQ playmaking got us going, his defense and playmaking is much improved.

RJ looks good with bench

Obi continues to play well and almost made a 3

Fournier bouncing back lately, we need his scoring

The walls looked like an NBA center
CEO of the not trading RJ club.
