Have to admit his defense was impressive the entire 4th Q.

Yeah last few games he stepped it up. He just can't do it entire game.

Harden suddenly realizing he can attack the rim with aggression, with 3 mins left in the game is frustrating AF to me.

Kinda feels like he's being passive on purpose?

I get impression that he's evaluating this team while half azzing. If his fat azz thinking to leave, do it now. No one holding you here.

He also will leave us dry if it's during FA. Worst thing, he'd take a year away from us.

Eating $40m and watching how team playing around you while half azzing. This dude better step his sh** up. No one gives two f*** if you jogging around. Killing it for entire team.

All that partying and coming in fat to start the season seems to be catching up to James.

I don't blame you. Especially with him being completely out of shape.

We lacked the continuity and consistency to win tonight. Bad decisions lead to quite a few of our turn overs.

The Suns passed the ball well and used spacing to their advantage to get good looks. On the other hand we had to fight for everything.

It's hard to believe that Harden had a TD and also one of his worst games as a Net. Possibly his worst? That said, I still have complete confidence that he will return to the superstar we know he is. This game really showed how important he is for our success, we live and die by his performance.

My biggest peeve with Nash tonight was that he didn't put Blake in. His ability to draw fouls and his physicality could have been game changers.

Suns are good, Nets player undisciplined sloppy basketball... The offense isn't good enough to consistently come back from large deficits.

As constructed, without Kyrie this team has to play hard on defense for 48 minutes against good teams.

A night like tonight with Kyrie is the difference between losing by six and crawling back vs steam rolling them and beating them by 19. Oh well, we can't get out of this slump against good teams; let's not forget, we were beating these teams last year and they are all out for blood now. Thanks Kyrie, thank you for leaving us hanging.

This loss 110% on Nash and no one else. We should have won this game by 6+ even with the turnovers and Harden having a bad game.

We gave up like 18 straight points on the 1-5 pick and roll with LMA on paul or booker which was an automatic bucket every single time. We did this for like 20-25 straight possessions spanning the 2nd and 3rd quarter with adjustment.

On top of that, The suns had 3 runs 10-0 or better and Nash didnt take a timeout on any of the the three. He also took no timeouts in our several streches of multiple turnovers. he didnt break suns momentum, he did nothing to refocus our sloppy play.

Kyrie or not, this team has ZERO chance to win a title with Nash as coach.

The suns didnt even play well.

Where is Blake Griffin in a game like this?

Kyrie would have made 0 difference. we lost this game because we let LMA guard chris paul for 30 minutes

Pros n cons?

Pros: Bembry looks like an ideal glue guy/role player

Cons: Harden looks washed

Add Nash to the cons list too IMO.

I’ve watched Harden since his days at ASU. I’ve seen him start slow routinely in Houston. This version of Harden is mind blowing. He’s not even at an all star level. I can’t believe he legitimately regressed like this. His leg has to be messed up still

Harden is all-star starter level.

21/9/8 on 61 TS%.

He isnt MVP level like usual. he had a bad game. hes been great this year despite not having a full offseason and rules that have unfairly been applied/target him. It also doesnt help he has a terrible coach who does nothing to adjust to how teams are defending harden. When teams focus on james or KD nashs strategy is just give it to the other guy to Iso.

we ran 0 pick and rolls in the first quarter. zero.

KD35Netted wrote:They are just torching us. Pathetic; they just play poorly against elite teams. If you have championship aspirations, you can’t play like that. Suns are waxing the league right now the same way we did last year. Luckily we can’t play both Warriors/Suns as they are out West. It’s one or the other. I hope Marks makes some changes and fine tunes the roster to make a difference against the elite group of teams.

Horrible take.

you dont make knee jerk moves when you have just had the best start in franchise history despite multiple injuries, 10 new players on the roster, and kyrie not playing.

if we were 6-14 you make a panic move. not at 14-6
