The answer is tough but to start Rose and try to have Kemba chase bench guards around instead of starting Off and have IQ next to him

You spelled IQ wrong, amigo.

I don't think Rose wants to start.

I don't like Rose/Kemba as a pairing off the bench. In an ideal situation IQ would start, but I don't think Rose/Kemba works well together. Easier to start Rose and have IQ/Kemba off then bench imo.

Fournier is looking better too. Which is great because we're gonna trade him.

He had some excellent drives. He wasn’t timid. I’ve held out hope for him and I think he can be a viable piece of the puzzle still

True. And then they gave to re invent themselves so they have a window. I was really impressed with what I saw last night though. They've taken a step forward with internal development.

Without CP3 I predict that is all falls apart. Thats when we should swoop in for deals :D

Likely a steep drop for sure.

Sims still has a lot to work on though. He played well tonight and has tons of potential but he's very raw and lacking fundamentals. I just hope we don't ruin his development like we did with Mitch.

Sims was putting the ball on the floor instead of going straight up. He'd end up losing the ball instead of getting an easy lay in. He has to finish strong. But the defense is awesome. He's very active and has a good motor, just needs to work on better positioning which should come eventually.

The tough thing is if you don't start Kemba, he's out of the rotation.

He doesn't fit anywhere else.

He could be. But he's salary filler. We've got good wings.

K-DOT wrote:See, this is what I mean about Burks right

He had those 4 made 3s in a row right, but outside of that, he did not have a good game. He's wildly inconsistent from game to game, quarter to quarter. Which isn't the worst thing to have for a backup, cause you can take them out if they're off, but Thibs treats him like he's prime Manu out there

Other than that, Quick shot surprisingly poorly (4-12 overall and 1-7 from 3) but was excellent as the PnR ball handler, Obi's getting consistent, RJ had a decent game finally, and Sims looked pretty good. Grimes looks like a decent 3-D guy, too, so that's good

Like I said in yesterday's PG thread, I don't think we're doing that bad, all things considered. Just let the team treadmill for a year, then see who's available to trade for in the offseason.

You wilding bro. What? Burks defense and impact was felt all game long. Yea he handsome turnovers and missed some shots, I'll take that every game.

Consistently got the defense on their heels and he’s quick enough and has a solid wingspan to play defense.

Iq one of our faster players. He doesn’t look at hood with starters imo though imo.

He even Dd up Gallo a few times

IQ got a 6’10 wingspan, Same as RJ. With his speed/ wingspan he should no doubt be a solid defender, glad he is making strides.

It was not a good signing. Nonetheless, he can be deployed to some effect

We should use RJ as a 1 and trade Rose for a pick.

How good would CP3 make our young players look? With how well he gets them the ball in their spots and how good he sets the pace for the team

Said the same thing. This game showcased why he's capable to start and will eventually. He's not lou williams.

That defense was nasty.

Trade Randle as is the theme before and after every game

RJ and Obi are very good in transition, play them more together

Grimes is a pest on defense. Quickly was great defensively too although his chucking didn't produce much this game, still like the energy and effort on defense

Robinson is absolute trash. Trade him with Randle

Lmao absolute trash. Told you melo,we dont appreciate our good young players. Kept capella in check and made his impact felt early. But hes trash lmao ok

Yeah he really kept a guy that is averaging 12 and 12 on the season in check by holding him to a 16 and 21 night

We gotta swallow a hard pill with the Kemba experiment. I know we pushed all the homecoming crap but his defense is bad. Thibs don’t do him any favors by trying to hide him.

What Burks did to Trae Young is what everybody been doing to Kemba all year.

fun game to watch. really enjoyed the pace they played w/ on offense. the youth provided a nice spark as did the flame thrower Burks, who is the best acquisition of the Leon era IMO. every team could use a Burks

If Thibs starts Kemba again I’ll laugh my azz off

Thibs isnt that stupid. bBurks just won the starting job the rest of the yesr unless IQ takes it at some point. No **** wsy does Thibs bring old ass slow Kemba back as a starter.. He shouldn't even get many minutes with how talented grimes is and the other young kids. There's only so many spots Kemba might be forced out unless Thibs is just clueless to appease him
