Westbrook has consistently kept a 5-star rating every year. While a guy like Curry has failed to achieve it (head scratcher). I wonder if that changes.

I also wonder who will be the surprise 4.5/5-star player this year? There’s always that one guy that shocks us all.

Well here are last years 4-5 star players

5 Stars (13)
Collins
Lebron
Kawhi
Tatum
Doncic
KAT
Harden
Simmons
Durant
Giannis
Westbrook
Trae
AD

4.5 stars (9)
Dame
Booker
Bam
Ayton
Steph
Whiteside
Beal
Sabonis
Irving

4.0 stars (14)
Embiid
Gobert
Murray
Mitchell

Butler
Ingram
Vuc
KP
Drummond
Lowry

Derozan
Siakam
Jokic
Fox

and we know there will be
5 stars- (7 players)
4.5 stars- (11 players)
4 stars- (10 players)

so this could be interesting, they are 28 open spots and 24 players remaining from last years list rated 4 stars or higher, I only see Whiteside being not included this year now so they are 5 open Spots

my guesses:
Morant
Randle
Lavine
Zion
Paul George

Edit: I think JV gets screwed..

Bish edited the list. There will be eight 5 star players.

ok in that case i think the newcomers will be Morant, Randle, Lavine, Zion, PG, and JV

Miles Bridges has to be the best off-season signing after these ratings, and looks like I may have traded Rose and LMA at the right time as neither made 3 stars this year

Wow. So looks like Vucevic will be rated higher than Gobert. Nurkic pushed back to 3 stars after a **** season. And 3 stars for Conley. Fml.

Trade winds right now…

Seems Smash was right about the trade winds once ratings dropped  I could see a few GMs making changes. But I wouldn’t overreact. I won a chip with one 5-star player in Westbrook and he averaged 17ppg at the time. Wasn’t even my leading scorer.

Jaren Jackson Jr, Kevin Porter Jr, and Michael Porter Jr all ranked higher than Trent Jr. These people hate me.

3 star Coby White on an affordable long-term contract is on the table for a team who needs a bench spark or a team who is rebuilding and wants a scoring guard!

I can't get over that Miles Bridges rating so clutch to get that sort of bump this early into his career and 1st year of a brand new deal in the SIM

so far

3.5 MPJ
3.0 RJ
3.0 Haliburton
3.0 Hunter
3.0 Boucher

with Curry still pending...

I think the only guy I got screwed on is Robert Williams not getting a 3. But I think because he has no shooting skills he might just be that 2.5 star guy just like last year that gets double doubles and a couple blocks and shoots 70%.

that is where individual skills are better than overall rating. Also since all those guys are young hoping they all have potentials to make me more dangerous in the 2nd half of the season.

Gobert only getting a 3.5 when Drummond has the same rating is kinda odd.

Spida/Booker/Jaylen Brown were all guys that should have 4 star IMO. Hopefully they get bumps.
