HUGE, HUGE, HUGE WIN! FIRST WIN IN DALLAS IN 6 YEARS!

I gave Gafford the last POTG. But he and KCP were tied!

I’m gonna say Beal for starting hot and making his teammates believers.

But Gaff definitely gets an honorable mention

Voted Gafford. Set the tone all night. He’s looked like his normal self in the couple of games.

Beal looked really good initiating the offense though. Looked like the normal Beal from years past.

Beal. Played within himself tonight

Beal rather easily with how he managed the game. This is how we want him to play, just need that three to go somewhere, but he played within himself.

Gafford with back-to-back good games is encouraging too.

Holiday is really only a nominal PG, really begs the question whether the Wizards wouldn't be better of starting a lineup of Beal, KCP, Avdija, Kuz/Rui, Gafford when Dinwiddie can't go.

Of course it could just be that Beals effectiveness as a setup man had more to do with the pitiful Dallas defense.

Not a prayer of stopping the pnr with Porzingis and WCS in as their bigs.

Beal gets my vote. He played like his all star version, aggressive and facilitating in offense (7 assists). 3 turnovers and inconsistent D were the only black spots but this is ok when he is as efficient as he was last night. Also his body language was much better!

Agreed. Wes finally played Beal at point with Avdija, KCP, Kuzma and Gafford for a short stint last night. When Rui gets back this line up should be used at times as only one of Neto or Holiday should see the floor when Dinwiddie is back.

It was startling how Dallas had so little interior help defense - otherwise, I might have gone with Beal. I thought Gafford was exceptional - particularly down the stretch - in a game where Harrell was ineffective. He got my vote.

Beal was awesome and played like a franchise-level guy. That was the 40 million dollar man we've needed. Gafford was great again. KCP had ice in his veins on those free throws at the end. Another Kuztacular three, plus Neto was solid. Bert played his role, providing doughboy inspiration to his teammates. Great win, all the way around.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Rationally, POTG has to be Gafford, though Brad also had an overall tremendous game.

All the same, I voted "Other" so that I could highlight what Neto did last night -- he had one hell of a 24-minute stint, grabbing 5 boards, posting 6 assists, & logging 13 points on only 8 shots & 1 FTA.

If Beal had been playing like his All-Star self lately, then this would have been a fairly normal game for Beal and I might have picked Gafford for playing above his baseline. But since Beal hasn't been good, this was a terrific game for him, relatively speaking. So I'm going with Beal. He really was fantastic tonight. He scored at will in the first half, and whenever he didn't score, he served up a dime for a teammate. He was rock solid in the 2nd half too.

I was kinda surprised to see that Kuzma finished with 22 points. It didn't really feel like it. While watching, it seemed like he had a somewhat bad game.

I think that is legit. I voted "Other" for Gafford and KCP but goes to Gafford in event of tie.

There were a lot of good performances in the Dallas game, Neto was hot, in fact every Wizard had his moments. Well, all but one. (Ahh, I think even Bertans had a slick assist.) And Beal still looked in charge. When his game is on it draws attention from defenses and creates opportunities for others.

Tie between Beal and Gaff with an honorable mention for Neto.

BB has gotten back to his old self the last 3 games...attacking the basket and not settling for the 3 or long jumpers (although that crossover dribble and long step back 2 in the second half was a thing of beauty.)

Beal was asked about his improved play in the postgame interview and he basically acknowledged that he had gone back to the offensive mindset that made him an all-star.

I haven't gotten to watch the game yet, but it's true -- Kuzma shot/scored well, rebounded well, assisted, & only committed 2 fouls. 4 turnovers, however The only negative to point out.
