Yeah Barnes must have hurt his hand again. He isnt looking to drive at all, even after those great dribble moves against the Pacers. He also only has one rebound and hasnt been mixing it up on the offensive glass. Well see how he comes out in the 2nd half, at least he isnt in foul trouble. Its funny because all of a sudden he isnt scoring and for some reason hes aloud to play defense.

Everytime he touches the ball I get a bad feeling. Thats not good. Like driving semi truck with a blindfold on.

Honestly what an ugly game to watch. Our offense forever sucks. Idk why I expect it 5o get better every game but it never does.

Also fts galore. I missed the physical basketball from early in the season

That makes no sense. He's a rookie and embraces pressure. He needs to be more aggressive but he's certainly not lacking confidence.

He has no confidence in his shot is what I mean. I see no reason why he looked off the basket almost 2 quarters and then all of a sudden attempted 2 or 3 3s within a minute apart.

unfortunately, this is a very selfish team. and scottie is a casualty as plays the opposite of that and you can't expect him to demand the ball over guys like fred/pascal. it's even more pronounced when gtj is playing.

I agree with that. He's legit frustrating to watch at times. Nurse suggests he wants him to be aggressive too so it has to be him. I hope this is just a rookie thing and he outgrows it. He's our future as it stands. Can't have him be a glue guy at heart lmfao

It’s a horrible floor as well cause of Scottie ends up draymond he’s a failure. Draymond’s indivudal accolades are tied to being on an elite team.

LMAO stop how is a hall of fame level player as a floor considered a failure. A Draymond Green level player will be a good outcome for Scottie Barnes. I don't get some peoples' need to downplay Draymond Green's greatness.

Scottie Barnes looks out of it. His last couple jumpers were looking kind of casual. He needs to play with a bit more purpose, but I guess it is his first game back after the first big roady. He might not be mentally with it.

Both teams look out of it honestly. Just a dull game at times.

I think the coaching staff said to stop and take threes instead. Just guessing.

Scottie likes to take high % shots that he can make. If everyone did that and moved without the ball, we'd have a better offense. But we got guys who take 30-40% type shots.

Weird first half. Didn't like the reffing. And it wasn't just the free throw disparity. There were 5 too-close-to-call out of bounds plays I counted where guys on both teams were battling for the ball, and all 5 went in favour of the Celtics. Those extra possessions are important.

It seems as though Scottie and Pascal are slowly developing some chemistry, which is great to see. Hopefully they can both build on that. And Scottie definitely needs to find ways to be more aggressive when he's got the ball on the wings. Still, positive signs.

Svi always seems like he should be a better shooter than he is. He has the look and reputation of a good shooter, but unfortunately he's never been more than average his whole career by the numbers. I had hoped that he just needed to play on a better team, but maybe this is just who he is.

Knowing this team he’s most likely not allowed to take that shot or is limited.
?? Nurse literally begs him to shoot more in media sessions.

It's coming soon.

Somewhere, Andrew Bynum will be elated, and Sasha Vujacic will be sad.

More reason here for Scottie to have the rock in his hands and Rockford's finest to be playing off the ball.

Real spit.

Barnes is averaging over 6 points more per game than Dray did in his first 4 years. He never had more than 8.2 in those 4 years. Barnes is already much better offensively.

no, he is. but he's one of the best two players on the team so it's hardly a problem in that sense. it only is a problem if you expect him to run a team, which he can't because he's more of a scoring guard. but he wants to be the point guard and nurse isn't gonna take that away from him.
