If nothing else, at least Cousins could give us a legit garbage time big, assuming he's willing to be that guy. I'm sick of seeing Thanasis try to play center. Boogie could keep those units from ruining the net rating our rotation is working so hard to boost.

Portis shouldn't play center unless Giannis is in the game.
Cousins hopefully can solve that, and it doesn't require him playing a huge amount of minutes either.

The Bucks signed Moses Malone when I was in middle school. That was huge.
Same. There was a list of your favorite non Giannis bucks thread a few months ago. He was on my honorable mention list.
But he was the best player on the team (as i recall, being the youngin that I was) . This guy is kind of a ring chaser. I'm not used to a guy like that wanting to sign to Milwaukee for nothing.

John Wall lists Bucks, Clippers, and Heat as preferred destinations if bought out.

Here’s the Wall report listing the Bucks as one of the teams “eyeing the situation” (1:20 mark) if he gets bought out.

Pretty stoked. I think the Bucks winning it all made this regular season pretty meh so far..that and all the injuries. This adds a jolt of fun to the season.
Dude should add some attitude that we lost with PJ.
Another scoring option is always nice. I think he could fit in pretty well... be embraced by the team and the city.
I feel kinda bad for Bobby Portis. You know for damn sure the crowd will be chanting Boogie like they do Bobby!
Very minimal risk on the surface. It will be interesting to see. Should be a nice addition on a very reasonable price.
Dude is only 31.
Not sure the last time the Bucks brought in a name this big off the street?

Aren't Wall and Boogie close? I could be mis-remembering.
Edit: I answered my own question. They are very close.
"This is my home, this is my city...I'm blessed to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."

Robinson's been awful so that seemed inevitable. Nwora getting sent down is an unfortunate development but also pretty warranted. Catch & shoot number this year are 39%, and 31% last year. That's the worry right there. If you're a bad defender who's only effective scoring with the basketball in your hands, then you ain't seeing the floor as anything more than a bench gunner in garbage time lineups. Not when you're playing with any of the Big-3. I just don't see him ever being an elite catch & shoot guy.

Love that we continue to try and improve the roster on the margins. Smart is a big guard who shot it well from 3 as a junior.

I'm starting to lean this way. Right now if the Bucks get healthy their playoff bench is Hill/DDV/Pat/Portis. I would guess Nwora and maybe Cousins (if he fits) fight for a 10th spot, if there even is one. Nwora has to shoot it at an elite level to be playable.

Don't kill the messenger man, I didn't create these stats. If you watched any of these Clipper playoff games, you'd understand why I'm a skeptic.
The alternative to being a skeptic is believing multiple teams would rather leave a roster spot open than sign a player who's awesome and willing to sign for minimum, without any guaranteed money.
You didn't create these stats and you don't understand them, "man." You're using 58 minutes as a sample argument. It's comical.

Awesome news. A big PG worth developing. A hated that we kept signing tiny PGs to 2 way contracts.

Watch a playoff game he played in, and you'd understand. He was massively targeted. In guessing you were too busy coming here and telling me we weren't contenders to see any of those games.
Nah, I don't mean that. You're a good dude, but if you watch the replay of those playoff games, you'd see it too. He just can't move, he can't bend his knees.

No real reaction to Smart v. Robinson. Smart's bigger, probably a better shooter but has a slow shot release, definitely a lesser PG.
Starting to feel like tinkering in advance of a more significant move.

The thought of Wall coming in to replace Hills minutes has me intrigued. Hill has been playing better of late, but I have to imagine Wall would be an upgrade at that spot in the rotation.
