He had a good couple of games, I really hope he can keep it up.
He has been one of the most impactful player in NBA this season even without shooting the ball well. If he overcomes shooting slump, he will be a legitimate ASG candidate

Is there some statistical metric you're referring to when you say "he is one of the most impactful players in the NBA this season"? I've been seeing other people say it on social media so I'm assuming there's some advanced stat I haven't seen.
The eye test says he's improved on defense, but I still wouldn't consider it upper echelon by point guard standards. That being said, if he can just play average level defense and perform at his normal career shooting percentages, he would be one of the best point guards in the league.

While this is definitely a positive sign, we probably shouldn't put too much stock into the +/- statistic. It's very reliant on synergy among lineups on the floor. The season is only about a quarter completed, so it's a bit of a small sample size too.
I just looked up the +/- as of today, and DLo has slipped to #10 behind guys like Mikal Bridges, George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, Draymond Green, DeMar DeRozan, Gary Payton II, and ANDREW WIGGINS.

It is not only stats, he is leading offence AND surprisingly he is vocal in defense. He is setting screens, he executes, patrolling passing lanes, even boxing out.

+/- is an advanced stat I put very little value in. It's not useless to me but as close as you can get while still being something I'd look at lol.
That said, I do think Dlo has seen some great stat improvements over this season. Our system is working for him, unfortunately he has been horrible with his shooting but if that improves to good he will be a really good piece for this team this season.
At the end of the day, I think the Wiggins and Dlo trade will be a win-win. Wiggins was never going to be the star we needed and though we could have found a role for him, it would have been a big damper on the franchise and maybe if him if he was relegated to being a role player after all the expectations and his contract.
Golden State is great for him because he can be the 3-5th guy. He can flourish in spurts and he doesn't the full attention of opponents. He can play a role that fits his game.
Dlo, needed a bigger role than he would get in GS. He's not a top superstar but he has a big enough offensive footprint to require a primarily offensive role. Here on the wolves, he can get that. Dlo fits our needs better.

One of the few saving graces of being a bad team for me is seeing others fans/bordcast teams be impressed or surprised by ous when we win. It's entertaining to see them super confident or cocky to start a game and then be impressed or start melting down as they lose lol.
