Saturday night saw an offensive performance the likes of which we haven't seen much of this season! Beal had one of his best games so far, Gafford was everywhere, KCP and Kuz were doing their thing, and we had timely contributions from the bench in Neto, Kispert, and of course.. Trez.
Monday sees the road trip conclude with a visit to the Riverwalk in San Antonio (and all the big ol' women down there per Charles Barkley's many observations).
The Spurs have struggled in Coach Pop's 26th season as the Head Coach. Pop is 21 wins away from the wins record and the young Spurs have given away a number of games in the first quarter of the season to sit at 5-13. They are coming off a big win against the Celtics which saw Dejounte Murray go nuts to close the game.
Even with the Spurs sitting near the bottom of the Western Conference, another streak looms large over the Bullets. It's that the Bullets have NOT WON IN SAN ANTONIO SINCE THE 1999-2000 SEASON.

Last Bullets win in San Antonio, Mitch Richmond had 31 points, Rod Strickland had 7 assists, and Tracey Murray dropped 15 off the bench to give the Bullets a 10 point win over the defending NBA Champion Spurs. Look at the box score: https://www.landofbasketball.com/box_scores/1999/1211WASSAS.htm.
Will the Bullets finally break the streak?
