Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
Bar a total capitulation in shooting percentages and defensive ranking - it would take a FVV season ending injury for us to out tank the worst teams.

If he continues to play 40 mins then we will most likely be in the play-in and at that point Masai will tell Nurse to tank again.
If he misses any time at all, they will lose all their games.

Every person in this thread gets it because you all live in your own little echo chamber. The Lakers aren't an example of a successful tank. It's absurd to think they are.
Lol talking about echo chamber in one’s head.

This is the definition of an echo chamber: "an environment in which the same opinions are repeatedly voiced and promoted, so that people are not exposed to opposing views." People have come into this thread trying to have a civil discussion and not only do people refuse to engage them but they end up getting insulted for it.This thread is the textbook definition of an echo chamber.
Why do you still come back?
A part of you wants to be part of this…
The fact that this thread exists about something we can’t control and just basically trolling people like you is probably making Steelo and Pooh very happy lmao

If we win the lotto and draft an Italian 1st overall again, that would truly be something lol. Full circle

we are only 1 game ahead of Sacramento Kings. Well within striking distance.

I could see the Pistons/Magic/Cavaliers/Pacers/Knicks all finishing with a worse record then the Raptors at the end of the season. The most likely scenario I believe is 7th-10th.

Guys I re-watched that Celtics game and the team never expected to win. There was no spirit and you can see from their body language that they are about to cave.
The season is officially over and they will tank and Masai does not care about the play-in.
Top 4 pick incoming!
giving up open threes does that to you. The definition of demoralizing.

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
It's 21 games. We see where the trends are heading.
As I said in the other thread it seems right now that "60% of the time we lose every time"
I still maintain there's some possibility we swing this around due to the SRS (and our offence is not bad as we think at times), but I think there is a fairly stronger possibility that we are headed in that low middling direction which we will try to accelerate later.
Wherever we go there is nothing I could do whether we are good, bad, good and tanking, bad and not tanking. Watch the games and enjoy. But I can always come here to read about prospects and talk about prospects.

Please the tank has a lot of room.
i'll bring a hitch because we will need a trailer soon for all new TWO believers when tank in fulll effect after a likely mediocre homestand.

Hoping the team loses and believing tanking is a good idea are not the same. When the team is tanking then start hoping to see the team you care so much about lose and embarrass itself.

If losing now puts the team in a better position to get a better draft pick then I’m cheering for losses now.

If we’re like 22-30 and know we move from like 10th to 5th or 6th by dealing Fred for expirings and a couple first rounders that’s a tempting bonus. It takes a fair bit of value to move from 10 to 5. It’s basically an extra first rounder for a 2 month tank if you figure moving up from 10 to 5 takes a first rounder in the high teens in most deals (say 16th or so). We’d surely miss the playoffs again next year though so might as well deal Pascal if we deal Fred.
Where's the D?

Yeah, that's not a likely scenario at all IMO. More likely we let the wins/losses fall where they may and end up picking around 7-8. I personally don't think Masai-Bobby are looking to deal FVV at all. If anyones on the chopping block it's Boucher and Pascal. ( I doubt it's Pascal yet)
But who knows.
