I’m not sure I’ve ever been so blatantly wrong about a player than I was with Franz Wagner. I didn’t vocalize it here, but I absolutely despised the pick. Watched so much footage of him and didn’t see a whole lot to be excited about. Then I put way too much stock into Summer League. Could not have been any more off base. What we are seeing from him now is literally what I thought his ceiling would be. Just plain dumb and wrong.

I'll give you that he is easy to move and that he doesn't fight for position but half of the problem is that we're not running plays in the post FOR ANYONE. That is part of the problem with this team. Look at what Franz was just doing and we went away from it already. If you don't get that, that's on you.

Suggs is looking much more poised out there. He attacks and pulls away if he doesn't like his odds. Much better decision making out there.
