If Wall were willing to give up something like what Griffin did I could see the Rockets cutting the cord.

If Houston really doesn't want to start him (and if Wall won't come off the bench for them at least) both sides might be motivated to skip the drama.

Seems like Blake is pretty pleased with his decision. But it's not like the Pistons holding onto him for longer was going to change much for anyone.

There is no doubt that the current Boogie is better than the current Semi.

The Boogie friendship does make the timing interesting.

That and Holiday had one of his best seasons playing more of a combo guard role next to Rajon Rondo (with Cousins also on the roster).

Starting John Wall seems like we'd take a big hit with our shooting considering Holiday is just mediocre there though.

However he'd bring some unreal energy and playmaking off the bench if he were to commit to the role.

Like the movie Sixteen Candles when the kids selling tickets to show panties in the bathroom. "Go for it!" Bucks have to waive somebody if Wall wants to be here with Cousins. Newly drafted Greek kid or trade him for a future pick? Or trade or waive any of Semi or Hood. Maybe even trade DDV? Or trade Nwora? Has to be another Bud's least favorite pitched aside.

This is the movie I'm thinking of. Someone with some photoshop abilities who could put Giannis's head on James Earl Jones's body would make me happy.

Hot take but I'd rather just bring back Teague.

The Bucks signed Moses Malone when I was in middle school. That was huge.
Cowens was my story like that. My dad who didn't give two cents for the bucks but loved the Celtics couldn't shut up about it. I was like who the hell is Dave Cowens. I think I was like 12 when that went down.

I'd take a player with upside over Teague any day. We know exactly what we get with Teague, and save for one good game in the playoffs vs the Hawks, he was a rough watch.

I’m not so sure I agree 100% with your police work there Lou.

Agreed. Robinson had a 41 TS% and a 4.7 PER. I appreciate that he played hard, but one of the worst Bucks of all time.

Part of the intrigue with Boogie is that he is tough but also a massive d bag. It is of my opinion that we need a few of these, especially since Tucker is gone.

And I've always liked Boogie a lot.

Love that we continue to try and improve the roster on the margins. Smart is a big guard who shot it well from 3 as a junior.

He did? Basketball reference only lists two years of college stats for him, and he was below average at 3.

A strong 6'4" with a 6'8" wingspan, credible 3 point shot, shifty dribble moves, and gives effort defensively. A lot to work with here, and he's already a better G League player than Robinson.

FWIW, I generally google "sports reference" when looking up college athletes. That's more their thing.

He will get into it with players like Blake or CP3 when they are being punks.
