Ya **** that guy for getting poked in the eye, get appendicitis, getting covid, tearing his ACL in college and coming back way ahead of schedule and most importantly **** him for getting a non-repetitive stress injury in practice because he plays hard

tbh, og has made improvements but i still dont see him as ever being a franchise player. all of our guys are good complimentary pieces, but og being out doesn't really move the needle too much for me...

the only guy on this team right now im excited about is scottie. i feel like the team needs more shooters and real shooters, not guys that are afraid or hesitant to shoot, or that need to put the ball on the floor multiple times before deciding to shoot... i feel like weve needed those players for years, and for some reason we've failed to address that issue.

There is not much of an argument to be made for Flynn at this juncture. I wanted the Raptors to select Bane. My guess would be that him being 6-foot-6 and having a 6-foot-4 wingspan turned the Raptors off of him as a prospect.

Completely disagree.

OG is has mental fortitude and is a miss match due to his size playing the 2 or 3, and can be a miss match for speed or size at the 4. He is our best defender, and has shown an increasingly versatile array of offensive moves this year.
While it's true that Og's defense has slipped to start the year (thanks to nurse and his minute distribution and Og's load on both o and D) but it's ok because it's good reps for him at game speed. He will learn he has to be even more fit mentally and physically to perform at his top gear all game. Love it. He had a couple games early of telegraphing his game and then he clicked and it became taking what the defense gave him. The nice thing about OG, is that he can post up almost anyone on the court by overpowering them.

OG and Scottie are my two guys ride or die. I can get behind Yuta too when he isn't over passing because I love yutas footspeed laterally on d.

Flynn would be ok right now if his jump shot wasn't busted. Without that jump shot, a small guard like him is not going anywhere.

Barnes on getting subbed out after 96 seconds: “I started slow, quick 2 turnovers, bad turnovers… It was really nothing. Just come back in the game, try to play hard, play better, play smarter, lock in, be more focused. So it was a good thing to do.”

i dont think siakam is a worse bball player than franz at the moment. realistically anything franz can do siakam can STILL do better. The problem is the expectations.

If Ja is out and they somehow lose the tank is really on lol. Expecting a big game from Scottie with his new found shooting confidence
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

It depends on who is out on our team as well no? If we lose two starters and our main bench C, then we are pretty thin in talent too.

It was weird how a few games ago, still on the road trip, he was suddenly upgraded to questionable. And now it's somehow worse? Strange.

Their play style is very different. Franz’s feel for the game is elite for a rookie, he’s like Yuta on steroids. Knows how to cut, take players off the dribble and makes the right pass every time.

It’s not about which player is better lol, that’s a silly take. Of course the player in his prime is better than a rookie who hasn’t even played 30 games yet.

Return to Toronto Raptors
