I been beating the drum for Pascal, Barnes and OG to play together as 2/3/4, with Fred and a center. It has barely been possible because of injury, ad has yet to be tried for even a second.

Tonight I wish Nick would start Yuta in that spot, with Pascal, Barnes, Fred and Precious. Same concept as with OG, length and active D at the 2, 3 and 4 to go along with Fred's good D and Achiuwa's strength inside. I just want to see it tried. it will be easier to sit Svi as opposed to Gary for this too (assuming Gary is out). Not sure if Nick has any intention of trying this longer lineup concept, but nothing much else is working. I hope he gives it a look.

i dont think siakam is a worse bball player than franz at the moment. realistically anything franz can do siakam can STILL do better. The problem is the expectations.

Their play style is very different. Franz’s feel for the game is elite for a rookie, he’s like Yuta on steroids. Knows how to cut, take players off the dribble and makes the right pass every time.


It’s not about which player is better lol, that’s a silly take. Of course the player in his prime is better than a rookie who hasn’t even played 30 games yet.

Sengun also sneaking up, and he should compare to Siakam or Achiuwa instead of Wagner comparing to our PF or C.

As for Siakam, I think he played well. He is carrying the offense, but OG should be carrying the defense instead of Siakam, and we are losing because of defense (Barnes makes a lot of rookie mistakes on defense). I think we will be better once OG comes back to play along with a C.

i just dont understand why he says franz would be a "perfect pairing" when we still have the better player in SIakam beside Scottie RIGHT NOW which is not producing ideal results. You put siakam in Franz's role with the defensive attention he's getting he would still beast way harder than Franz. I mean Franz would be lucky to be as good as Siakam one day, despite how bad siakam is performing he's still easily a 18/8 guy for years to come.

Franz and Scottie complimenting each others skillsets has nothing to do with Siakam, you're the one who brought him up lol.

I don't know why you keep bringing up Siakam. I'm not saying replace Siakam with Franz my guy. Relax.

That jump from 7th to 4th was legendary. I remember wanting Scottie at 7 but wanting to trade up to get Mobley once we landed the 4th pick. Never knew we would have picked Scottie at 4 listening to all the Suggs hype.
