One of my old coaches, when I was dribbling too much in games, set me up like 10 feet away from the wall during a practice and said he would pass to the wall and challenged me to beat the ball to the wall by running. Classic coaching move.

Like, I know it’s elementary, but I think Nurse needs to do this with Fred.

The only game that we really should have won was the Pistons game. You can say that injuries have made it really difficult for the rest of them. Raptors are a top-heavy team. Without three key rotation players, they are not going to survive.

oh it happened, i was thinking at least it would be an enjoyable loss with barnes showing his stuff. Then Nurse brings in Boucher and fouls the mood.

this team isn't good.

FVV isn't that leader folks. he's not making anyone better. but i'll give him the fact that he's putting up good stats.... on a losing team.

again, if players are getting called out on bad teams but putting big stats, why aren't we doing that to FVV?

Now I'm starting to feel more optimistic that we're going to get a top 4 pick again in this years draft. Couldn't even score against the worst defensive team in the league.

We are too good for that.. more like a pick 10-12 range...

Raps were terrible 1st half then 2nd half awoken up to play team ball. Playing decent d and offense was meh yet liked what I saw from Barnes.

Seems Raps had so many opportunité and cant hit there shots as struggling to win games at home.

How well did the rest of the team shoot tonight? 30/78 (38%) which includes a late on-slaught from Scottie and Siakam where they went 7/12.

How well did the rest of the team shoot against the Celtics? 27/77 (35%)

How well did the rest of the team shoot against the Pacers? 27/68 (40%)

Give FVV some players to pass to that can actually hit wide open shots and layups and he'd be averaging more than 3.3 assists over a 3-game sample size. You are ridiculous lol

Its pretty clear were tanking. A bunch of us on this board predicted the Trent Jr. "injury". Calf strain? Come on... Flynn and Boucher for half the 4th quarter. No play ran for Scottie until the games over. Iso for Pascal all throughout crunchtime. Dragic away for "personal" whatever issues. They are tanking.

Can’t expect to win many games with guys like Dalano, Flynn, Bonga, Precious, Svi & Boucher ALL in the rotation. Maybe in a few years, but not now

This team needs to get Scottie involved for the full game like they do in the 3rd. The team looks way better and you get less selfish individual plays from the veterans who are really glorified role players who should not be getting 1st and 2nd option touches.

FVV and Siakam have done a great job and improving their offense, but their basketball IQ on offense is very poor. They can be great role players who play as 3rd or 4th options but they are better as players who play off others. They're not leaders on the court and the team looks very bad when they try to control the game.

Scottie, when he truly runs the team really gives you elite floor vision and he just reads the floor better than anyone else on the team. Whatever he tries to do in the court is extremely high IQ.

This team needs to move on from FVV and Siakam. They are not going to take a backseat and they do not have the intelligence to lead the team.

Love the use of the accent. Not sure if that was by design or not...but when I read it out loud, it sounded real good,.

 they are a top heavy team where none of the starters are top 5 in their position.

We could've had Bane. Instead we have Malachi and GTJ.

Honestly, I'm not that upset with this loss. The Raptors missed a bunch of shots they should have made. But there were some good things. The defence was better, Pascal and Scottie's chemistry keeps getting better and they were working well together, and the young guys got some extended run (to mixed results).

Svi and Flynn both have excellent form on their shots, shot well in college, and seem like they should be better shooters than they are, but for some reason they just can't make them consistently. It's frustrating.

Also, I'm not even sure why they bother having coaches' challenges if they're not going to overturn incorrect calls. Precious did not initiate the contact on that play. His hand was hooked by the offensive player and that was the only contact. Actually both of the last 2 fouls against Precious to foul him out were BS.

Finally, I'll cheer for Brooks whenever he's on Team Canada, but he really plays like an **** out there.
