Van Vleet is not a true PG or a floor general. He is an undersized capable 3 + D SG. That is all.

Need Senior off the ball. Sick and tired of him and Pascal pounding the rock.

It took a Raptors Championship for us to finally get a Christmas Day game the following season. The ‘Association will never gift us another one unless we win a second ‘ship.

The plus side is we might get another top 10 pick and we get to see Barnes develop. No downside win or lose.
The only way we see Barnes develop is if we ship Siakam's bum ass and Fred's selfish ass off this team for picks and young inexperienced players who have no egos.

Just move him to the two and play Barnes at the 1.

Senior is more effective playing off the ball.
With Barnes height and playmaking ability...there are just more options available.

Alvin's still rough on the mic, but imo he's bringing way more substance and attention to detail about what's happening on the court than Leo and Jack i.e. pointing out defensive breakdowns, mismatches, etc. I also like that he's willing to criticize the team and players, which is a welcome contrast to Devlin constantly making excuses.

Bet on yourself ladies and gentlemen
How well did the rest of the team shoot against the Celtics? 27/77 (35%)
How well did the rest of the team shoot against the Pacers? 27/68 (40%)
Give FVV some players to pass to that can actually hit wide open shots and layups and he'd be averaging more than 3.3 assists over a 3-game sample size. You are ridiculous lol

but still, the turnovers. and FVV isn't a guy who is an elite playmaker and threads the needle on passes - which will lead to some TOs. they are just careless TOs all in all. 4TOs per game is pretty bad.
Fred's turnovers don't come from passes, they come from being overly selfish and then crying to the referee for not bailing his midget ass out.

i'll give Alvin Williams the expectations of the Raptors - keep developing

The only players to hit more than 1 three tonight were Scottie and Yuta. Missing OG, Trent and Birch is pretty significant too. That's 40+ points and ~90 minutes that were mostly given to Bonga, Flynn and Yuta. Yuta had a good game, but he shouldn't be playing 30 minutes lol.AbC? wrote:What a disgusting offensive display against the WORST defensive team in the league lmao.

Also, Memphis is the worst defensive team in the league, but they are significantly better with Morant off the floor on that end (and overall). With Morant on the floor, their DRTG is 116.8 and 114.8 overall (30th). In the minutes without Morant, their DRTG is 108.2 (which would be 19th, but a difference of 0.4 between 15th). They'd be a solid defensive team without Morant.

what does that say about them as nba players?
seems like every other game I hear "we just missed some open shots"

Re: PG: Leagues most selfish team loses again
Nothing more needs to be said about this game.
So instead I'll mention people bringing up Leo... He sucks, just let it go. He sucked when he would go off on diatribes unrelated to the game, he sucked when he would big up every big man for every move they do that's not a three pointer. He was also boring and unfunny and in my opinion brought nothing to the table
Leave Alvin alone man. At least... I mean this, at least give the man an entire season in his first year doing play by play. Is that too much to ask? He hasn't been great but I'm sure you weren't great your first year on the job either. If he is like this in year three then we can call it quits. But stop reminiscing about someone who was not that good

We just gotta move him to the 2 and play Scottie at point. And please tell me you're taller than Fred.

yes you have to blame on everyone else, not FVV. obviously.
thats how a FVV-stan would argue about it, right?
