Hamstring means he's going to miss a fair share of games. It's a tricky injury, and we should be careful managing it.

We won multiple playoff games without Paul so even with Booker out this game isn't lost yet. Don't give up folks we play as a team and don't rely on ONE player.

We can only win it with D now, so far playing great to close out the 2nd.

Excellent game so far.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Bet he sits for a week+

Bread and butter is with the big men tonight, and going to /should be more so in the second

we sure needed that run to finish the half

That hamstring hates Devin Booker.

Ayton has been excellent today defensively. I've counted at least 3 blocks, yet he's been credited only with 1.

We're disciplined enough to keep things interesting but to win, we'll need more from Ayton and McGee. They don't have any answer for them right now.

Oh and if Shamet could hit a couple of 3's

This game is **** intense. Gameplan changes with Booker out and could end up helping cause you know they prepared for Booker.

Those back to back blocks on Curry were like drugs for me.

Booker's hamstring gives Ayton an opportunity to be our first option on offense. Time to show us you're worth that BIG BAG BAD BOY. Helps that this is probably the hardest DA's played all year.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but we're allowing Ayton to switch onto Curry - and it ain't hurt us yet. Even blocked GOAT's shot. I'M HERE FOR IT

Need Ayton to step up with Booker out. Can't keep getting torched from deep. Ayton needs to keep hitting the offensive boards and guards need to hit the glass on defense too.

Shamet could REALLY earn his extension by stepping up in games like this where Book is out or having a bad game. It's the main reason we traded for him

GSW are a defensive machine in 3rd quarters, we'll do well to get 24.

Monty during halftime to Bridges " now with Booker out it's your time to shine. Go put up 10+ this quarter and prove all the naysayers wrong".

Bridges: I gotcha coach.

I thought it would be a tougher game for him defensively since they don't utilize Looney or Green for scoring, and I figured if he got switched onto Curry bad things would happen. I did miss the second half of the first quarter for a dog walk but the couple of times I found him on Curry he looked good...got a block, forced a pass another time. I think Poole blew by him once but Bridges was there to block it.

We need to focus on team rebounding like they do though. Surprised McGee only played 4 minutes. I see he had two turnovers and no boards, but figured he'd be there. Not sure why we tried to go small.

Return to Phoenix Suns
