It’s a he. I think he disliked the LBJ/Klutch backstabbing job on Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, Randle etc so much that he might have left the Lakers colors until LBJ is gone. He even predicted the roster turmoil we’ve seen since.

Sometimes, good coaching is to find ways to keep certain players on their toes. I’m guessing, but in order for DH to avoid returning to being the entitled diva he used to be, a little help like that from Frank can’t hurt.

Phil did it all the time, the mind games based in actual reality. He found individual ways to motivate each player. Social intelligence and emotional intelligence are under rated talents when it comes to coaching. People only talk Xs and Os. See Monty Williams and Nick Nurses, they’re the next generation team builder coaches that way, I think.
