If Boogie ends up working out it's a good thing we ended up getting b4 the bam injury. Heat will be forced to pick a big up and interesting to see who they get.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Wat? Dedman is better than Boogie by a lot.

Edit: holy crap. I even googled Bam and there was no news. This is a huge injury.

Wasn't Dedmon out of the league prior to signing a min deal w/ Miami last season? Hopefully Cousins works out the same way.

I was advocating hard for Dedmon last season as an insurance Center, but this is incredibly debatable. Certainly not "by a lot".

I thought Cousins was like over 34 years old o something. He is still just 31. Exactly one year older than Khris and same age with Jrue.

The range of possibilities on Boogie is wild. He could be cut a week from now or he could replace Brook.

I think he plays himself out of our monetary range for this coming offseason.

I like the signing out of circumstance and need but I can’t see this being more than an extra body for a couple weeks. I would be very surprised if he makes it past the guarantee deadline even if Brook is back or not. He’s just way too immobile and I legit felt sorry watching him in the playoffs last year.

How mobile do the Bucks need him to be?

We've played Brook at the 5 for the last three seasons. We'll switch our actions on the perimeter, Cousins will drop, and he'll be 6'10 with a 7'6 wingspan and his hands in the air.

How much slower is he than Brook? Analytically he could have a bigger impact in everything but shot blocking. He's a far superior shooter and passer.

Well after reading what the heat n bulls got in that tampering thing really pisses me off.
The glam cities though punished wasnt nearly as bad as what the bucks got.
Lets see heat/bulls got their guy only gave up a 2nd round pick
Bucks didnt get their guy lost a 2nd round pick and was fined.Yep seems very equal to me.Silver is a absolute slap nut

Brook moves slow but covers significantly more ground than boogie, it’s not even close. Brook plays like he’s stuck in mud, boogie is stuck in dry cement.

He’s impossible to hide on defense and he plays the most important position on defense, he was outta the league for a reason. He’ll be ok for 5 minute stretches but that’s the type of guy you give a non-guaranteed contract and cut instead of sacrificing a roster spot on.

The ambition here for Boogs is wild. He hasn't been a decent player since the achilles 3 years ago. Never mind the hammy tear. Or the ACL.

At his best he was in inefficient scorer on a losing team while a plodding defensive liability. All while playing a role quickly being chaperoned out of the league.

During that time he has shot a Giannis-esque 32.8 from 3.

I'd gladly take a guy that can give Giannis 10 min rest against the big bangers once a week.

I think you're underrating how good he was in like last 2 years on the Kings and his year on NOP before he got injured.
still learning the game

The area where Brook excels is his 9'-6" standing reach. He simply raises those arms, and you've got to in effect shoot over the Empire State Building. It's incredibly intimidating, even if Brook isn't moving quickly out there.
