Yeah, in hindsight, I think I'd have taken Cam Thomas #3 behind Cade and Jalen.

It's a shame the Warriors wasted that pick on Kuminga. Them getting their hands on both Cam Thomas and Moses Moody would have been super exciting given how much they fit their offensive system.

If you look at it objectively, Kemba spaces the floor at an incredible rate, generates turnovers with deflections, and traditionally is closer to a PG-level distributor than Maxey is.

He's just flatout more well-rounded and a better fit.

Right now, Maxey is just a pick-his-spots slasher with no shooting, no defense, and subpar positional passing.

But I thought he was a washed-up munchkin on a bad contract?

Are you confusing Kemba Walker with Dame Lillard?

Kemba's making $8.7m this year and $9.1m next year. That's a phenomenal contract.

It's crazy because even after eventually ending up on one of the best fitting teams in the league, with a finals berth to his name, he still sounds a bit sour about it

Dude any normal person would be. Humble dude, hard worker, no big ego, mum there, he wanted to go there, got the promise then boom traded literally when he was wearing a sixers hat. Then we double down and get a way worse version literally the next draft.

It’s karma we are so dysfunctional because we act like a crazy person would.

There’s still a ton of bad air to clear out and until that happens the Championship was always a pipe dream and not realistic at all.

Like I said, it's just not in the cards for us to trade for Kemba. We already have two munchkins in the rotation (Maxey and Curry). I'm just saying, he'd be a more valuable player and better fit for us than Maxey.

Big fan of what the Cavs is doing.

Evan Mobley-Jarett Allen frontcourt looks nice and seems to be able to carry their midget backcourt.

Then they have the “throwback” bench of Kevin Love and Rubio.

Bridges isnt the guy you should regret passing up. It’s SGA.

Exactly. Nor is he the right Bridges. Miles is the one that is actually good. Mikal, at this point, is basically a defensive specialist that does little to nothing on the offensive end other than energy points and fastbreak. He doesn't even shoot threes.

I love Jj’s podcast as all you know. The first time i listened to this, I thought Mikal has been playing well this season being a 15-18ppg scorer 2 way player. Then I looked at his numbers and im like.. this guy is just a role player what is he talking about..

If you want him, we probably can get Lu Dort right now for half the price.

If you want him. We could have gotten Otto Porter for almost free like how the Warriors gotten him.

When you have Biid and Ben. You need 1-2 combo guard scorer than a 3&D wing.

The problem was.. we got the wrong combo guard scorer. LOL

Mikal’s mediocre ness aside, this is revisionist history at its finest. Most people loved that trade at the time.
always a jump shot away.

You all are losing your marbles at assessing players now. Bridges is very close to being an All NBA defensive wing.

50/40/90 in the finals

54% FG currently he’s better than Seth easily.

We wouldn’t need Green or Thybulle or Korkmaz and we’d be 2/5 ths done on the starting lineup. Or Joe

That’s five gone instead we do the same dumb stuff and double up on the same arse tier raw roleplayer.

Instead we are still 1/5 and nothing has changed.

Nah ain’t revisionist it’s just pure logic which we the Sixers have none of.

^ who cares about being an all defensive wing. I mean, if someone really cares then Ben Simmons’ value would have been sky high and he should have been traded by now

Jeez posters here are vindicate atm. Face reality this team is going one way. Put my wagering profits for the year on us not making the playoffs (4-1) and Cavs making it (5.5-1).

76ciology stop straw-manning things when someone doesn’t agree with you. The Bridges trade was a complete and utter failure. Why bring down on an actually good basketball player we kind of need more of him across the board.

In fact the whole process including Embiid himself is a failure. All of them at the top from senior players to the FO should take equal share and not scapegoat one.

Truth hurts but a couple years from now it saves the heartache knowing where this is all going to go.

The whole thing is a mess.

Bridges trade was a failure, not because of Bridges but because of zhaire smith.

I've never cared to much about Mikal, I just saw that clip and was reposting it.

Bridges or Zhaire isn’t the issue with that trade

It was passing in SGA

The pick in it of itself was terrible. Mikal had no upside. And then the trade was terrible ontop of it because everyone knew Zhaire had no skillset.
