Kawhi would solve our size and go to guy issues.

Sorry wasnt able to catch it. U included Maxey?

No

Just Obvious that Clips weren’t going anywhere without Kawhi

This is assuming the Raps wouldn't be interested in Simmons cause him and Scottie Barnes would cancel each other out. The same goes for Scottie Barnes and Siakam, which is why plenty of Raps fans are ready to move on from Siakam.

PG: Maxey
SG: Seth
SF: Tobi
PF: Siakam
C: Embiid

6th man: Schroder

No deal - Brown or Tatum are the only players you have that are of interest. It's mighty convenient that your deal is asking the Sixers and Raps to part with their prime trade piece while you get a player who potentially makes you a contender while giving up only your garbage.

Actually, that's a horrible trade for the Celtics. If salaries, attitude and health were all equal, I'd trade Robert Williams for Simmons straight up, but the difference in value would be a lot less than most people probably assume. Factor health and attitude in, still assuming money is equal, and I prefer Williams. So I hate the actual trade suggested.

Ok. Because its not doable without Maxey. I dont think Clips would trade Kawhi for Ben. Having Maxey play with RJ and have PG as ISO option then have Ben as their glue guy may make it work.

Maxey
RJ
PG
Ben
Ibaka

They run a similar set-up with the backcourt now with Bledsoe and RJ

I've been a Robert Williams extremist in trade threads for a while. The final play of tonight's game was only special for him because it was the last play. His stat line for the game is nothing unusual for him either. I'm optimistic about his improvement. Etc.

Only you and his Mama wouldn’t trade him for Simmons.

I would trade Bum Simmons for Robert Williams in a heartbeat. Heck, I would welcome Carmelo Anthony right now too.

Simmons is broken mentally.
There won't be any trade until he gets his head space right.

Westbrook+picks for Simmons might actually be something to consider.
Westbrook, Curry, Green, Harris, Embiid -- Maxey, Thybulle, Korkmaz, Niang, Drummond -- Springer, Joe, Milton, Bassey, Reed

What would be the value gap to cover? 3 FRPs?

Harris and a 1st for Irving
Simmons for Murray, Young, Vassell, 1st top 5 protected

**** Westbrick

Easy.

Murray
Irving
Vassell
Niang
Embiid

Curry
Maxey
Thybulle
Young
Drummond

Seems pretty good

If Morley was really planning to play hard ball with Simmons until he got the return he wanted, I'd probably do something crazy like westbrook for harris but i don't like westbrook more than i don't like simmons right now.

Westbrook started poorly but looks pretty good over the last 12 games. I think it's worth monitoring but he looks comfortable playing a more reduced offensive role.

Irving seems like a mistake. I do like the Spurs as a trade partner for Simmons though. I think Murray+White is the play.

It’s Westbrick team caps at 1/2nd round exit with him as the “floor general” no thanks.

What’s a mistake? Getting out of Harris’s 38/40 mill in the next two years is wonderful. Irving is just a massive bonus.

He’s a headcase but if he plays he’s literally the best player we could dream of skill wise. Talk about a closer he’s that and then some.

Murray is our Holiday type PG, Irving the scorer/shooter/closer in all in one, Embiid is Embiid, Niang >>>> Harris as a bomber. Such a synergistic setup imo.

Also I forget about Danny Green lol. With Vassell/Thybulle moving him would probably be beneficial to restock.

Buy low/sell high always.

No need for Korkmaz, Milton and Green move them for picks, better fitting players (I want Simons!). Heck Drummond can be moved because Bassey should be our backup big next season.

Yeah, no thank you with Westbrick.

Hes was never a winning player/leader, hes not starting now at 33 years old. Also hes going to decline very fast in the next few years, it has already started. We would need him here to be a leader and the first perimeter scoring option, it wont end well. Lakers with Lebron and AD its the perfect fit for him at this point in his carreer.

I dont see the Nets taking Harris for Irving, but its a very messy situation with Kyrie, anything can happen. Ill do it in a heartbeat.

I like those two trades combined with Nets/Spurs.

Westbrook?

You’ll never ever win if you have him on your team.

Because if you lower his usage and let him focus on being efficient, he’d be useless like how he is early in the season.
He’d drive to the basket and pass up open shots.

But if you let him play with high usage like his OKC days or like how he pads his stats right now, you’ll turn the ball over a lot while score inefficiently that is hard for you to have elite offense

Ben and Maxey for a top tier perimeter scorer
Tobi and Milton for a 3&D lengthy F

Once you get a top tier perimeter scorer, you wouldnt need a microwave scorer because you’ll just stagger the top perimeter scorer and Biid’s minutes. While you still have Kork and Joe off the bench.

team isn't going to fix all of its problem in one season nor are they going to trade both Ben and Tobias (and the latter not at all lol)

Agree, hard for it to happen all at once.

Right now I think our direction is staying flexible and trying to win at the same time.

With the way things are going, we better hope we land with a top 3 pick. Jabari, Paolo or Chet would be great fit on our team.

If that’s your mindset, I dont think you’ll be stressed with all the BS returns for BS.

Doubt Sixers could land in the bottom 5 to get a Top pick.
