I think he plays himself out of our monetary range for this coming offseason.

How does this work? I assume there are no bird rights associated with a NG contract.

Early bird is after two years of service, bird after three. The Guaranteed NG'd portion doesn't matter. Boogie will eventually be guaranteed here without a doubt in my mind. He'd have to fit into your Tax Level MLE. We'll have early bird on Bobby.

It took you 10 years, but you spoke Boogie to the Bucks into existence. Still working on RHJ huh?

Can we be greedy and bring in Wall now? I want to see what he could look like going up against bench units lol.

Probably a healthy DDV

If you could somehow pull the ol' Torrey Craig trade and unload Semi for cash to open up a roster spot for when Thad Young gets bought out......that'd be swell.

Well, DDV is neither a wing nor a swing. He's a combo guard. I reckon we could have a use for a swing to replace Tucker.

I get what you mean though. Can't think of a trade I like either. I'd be perfectly happy to keep Donte. Hopefully, we can re-sign him on the cheap during the offseason.

Damn. That’s really unfortunate to hear. Father Time is undefeated. Brook has been an amazing Buck. Maybe one of my favorites…but it’s been clear his body is slowly but surely doing what bodies do. I hope he can give us another good run of productivity when he’s fully healthy.

What is a best case scenario timeline? I hope he could be back this season but I’m skeptical

Well sh*t.

Maybe all that "progressing" talk was to keep other teams off the Boogie trail.

Either way, this ain't good. Can't image he'll return this year after back surgery. We'll have to figure out a new winning formula come playoff time

Seems like they tried the rest and rehab route and it obviously didn't alleviate the issue. Not good news at all for a player at his age and size to get back surgery. Far from an expert but I don't know of any back surgery that is a quick recovery, can't imagine we see him again this season.
