To date on the season we rank #3 in pace but have the 4th lowest TO rate. That's pretty damn impressive.

Mason Plumlee is shooting 29% from the FT line.

Lol I mean damn.

So some of this has been Terry not being himself, but I do think that replacing Devonte & Malik with Kelly O & Ish has been a thing.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

probably because we'd take him out and it would be harder for opposing teams to score and rebound

Looking at some stats.

One of the more interesting ones is only 1 player on the team, Melo, has a per over 20. He's at 20.65. But nobody in our regular rotation has a per under 14 at the same time.

Another is Melo only shoots 44% on 2pt shots, the lowest on the team besides Ish. He also has the lowest scoring efficiency, besides Ish. Not counting Rozier, who is returning from injury.

Just flashed across the screen in the Rockets game that the Hornets' Opponent 3P% has been the lowest in the entire league over the past 9 games

Imagine what he could be when he gets some game awareness and management smarts about him. There are times where he makes poor decisions to end quarters, he commits silly fouls and has clownish shot selection.

If he can tighten up those easily fixable flaws he'll be a phenomenal player.

This is probably the first time in his life he’s actually been coached. I think as his career progresses those dumb decisions will die down

According to whatever this is, we're one of the least 'complainy' fanbases in the NBA. Makes the fact that we were all up in arms over the 4th quarter officiating last night a bit more compelling. Crazy - absolutely crazy - that Philly & Rap fans are also near the bottom of the list. Who knows how they come at this data though - if it's purely a volume of tweets thing, etc.

I bitch and complain a lot about officiating. Even when I know we're at fault. Mostly because it seems like it never goes our way. Maybe Lamelo can change that.

All i know is that if someone say Miles bullied himself into the paint drawing contact like Giannis did last night constantly he would be fouled out midway thru the 2nd quarter. It's ridiculous.

that graph only indicates which teams have biggest following on twitter.... do complaints/total fans. maybe #complaints vs #of follwers for team twitter account. its not perfect, but will give better indication of whether a particular fanbase complains more than expected based on #of team fans.

thats some amateur hour stat analysis

He looks like someone getting "psyched out" during a shot in the movie Baseketball when he shoots free throws.

thats like saying LA and NYC prefer the color blue more than Charlotte because we counted 2 million blue shirts in NYC and LA, but only 20,000 in Charlotte.

Following on the Melo shooting stat post, this is a bit nuts:

Melo is ranked 22nd in the league in 3PA per game at 7.5. Among the top 30 in 3PA per game in the league, he's ranked 5th in 3PT%.

That is nucking futs.
