We're not without talent but it feels like with the reliance on Randle, Thibs being sort of clueless, this might be the ugliest situation in a while. At least not devoid of talent, but very toxic mix of win-now fakery and bad basketball players being given too much power.

Scott Perry wanted Derozen, an actual shot maker and we went with Fournier. The one thing Perry could of gotten right we blocked him lol.

I do like the way Grimes plays defense though

He doesn't have the tools to be an elite defender, but he seems to have good instincts

I can see his floor being Courtney Lee, which is pretty good for a 25th pick. Ceiling will depend on how good he can get at creating his own shot, which he hasn't shown much ability to do yet, even in summer league he struggled to get past the free throw line.
