karch, what do we need? we're kind of in retool mode, not rebuild right?

i wonder how many guys from the great selloff will resign? bryant's probably a long shot but i'd like rizzo back

I have a feeling this is a rebuild being sold as a retool. I’d say pitching, CF, and power hitting corner IF the main needs. Ray was the only one so far I think could’ve made a splash and been in our budget (or more what we are willing to pay).

I don’t feel good about any of the sell offs coming back but Rizzo most likely, IMO. Baez just signed with Detroit.

sounds like marcus stroman is a pretty good get

yan gomes might mean the end of contreas' cubs days

Was thinking finally have time to reply and we make a very good signing and lock out begins.

Didn’t like the Gomes signing as too much for a back up when we have guys in the minors that could fill the role, but like even less under idea Contreras could be moved.

I think it lasts into February. Maybe when spring training comes close the loss of $ becomes real enough the actual discussions begin.

well looks like they sorted it out

i have no idea where the cubs stand though, we going to be any good? did any off-season stuff happen?
