If Kai can ever be a Christian Wood-lite, we have a gosh darn team on our hands.

So, only five or six more years?

Welp, you know what they say: "You can't win them all".

Although in the case of Bouk and Kai, the saying could be: "You can't win any at all".

Bouk just made 2 pretty crazy back to back layups going strong to the rim.

Bouk just got a steal and threw down an open court switch hand windmill so effortlessly that it made it look like a struggle when Miles dunks.

Bouk and Kai just executed a perfect two man give, go, give then go again from the top of the key ending in a Kai dunk.

It was beautifully done and totally...........box office!!

Half time and the Swarm are up 59-32.

Could tonight be the night Bouk and Kai pop their pro cherries?

I'm an unabashed fan of Kai Jones.

I think he's going to end up being really, really good.

He's not ready yet, but when he is I can't WAIT to see him get meaningful playing time with LaMelo and Miles.

Well, they got their win………but only just.

After being up 59-32 at the half they squeaked out a win after seeing the lead cut down to 7 points late in the 4th.

They only ended up winning by 9pts because of FT’s being gifted to them at the end thanks to being in the bonus and the Spurs deliberately fouling us to put us on the line late in the game. Really the difference ended up being about 5 points.

The 4th quarter was not good……unless you consider turnovers, lots and lots of turnovers, as being good.

Bouk and Kai did look pretty good though, so there’s that I guess.

I’ve been watching the swarm games when Bouk and Kai play, and I also noticed a big difference tonight. I know Borrego had a quote last week about how they’re looking for Bouk to play a certain way and it seems he is starting to get it. Both him and Kai are playing more team ball, instead of just going 1on1.

Also, being that I’m a UConn guy, I had the pleasure of watching Bouk there for 2 years, and one thing that always bugged me with the kid is his horrible body language. I also noticed a huge difference with that tonight and I think someone on the hornets has been getting in his ear about that, because I noticed a huge difference with his body language. Good to see also!

Hope you're right about the body language. In SL he looked like he was just going through the motions. Was very frustrating.

I agree, very frustrating. Rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

I was at the Austin airport this morning and saw some swarm guys. I only recognized Gelo, probably because he was the only one not masked in the whole airport so the other news today doesn't surprise me

Cameron McGriff signed away by Portland on a hardship contract; too bad he has a physicality that made him a favorite of mine on the Swarm this year

Xavier Sneed has been the Swarm's best all around player this year; he's always been a good defender with weakish shooting but has shot better this year (39% from 3) and went 5-8 from 3 against Memphis Hustle in the Showcase (see highlights 2 posts above) and so now Memphis Grizzlies have signed him; Congrats to him he's a good fit in Memphis
