Well, if I had to guess, I'd say they were outscored by 56 points in 24 minutes.

OKC still believes in the tanking strategy in spite of what Silver wants.

Too bad the NBA won't do anything about it. Other than tweak the lotto balls.

This boxscore broke my mind.... 152-79

...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

With our current treadmill outlook it’s disturbing to remember how people here wanted exactly this. The environment was flat out hostile against people who advocated a rebuild.

Ultimately, all of the relevsnt 20/21 playoff teams have been built through the draft: Booker, Ayton, Embiid, Giannis, Joker, Murray, Mitchell, Gobert, Trae and all of his supporting cast in Atlanta have been acquired through the draft. Add Steph and Klay. There are hardly any exceptions. Brooklyn and the LA teams are the only ones basically (and it’s not even looking too good for them), as teams like Washington and Portland also still cling to the draft picks they nailed.

Yet here we are, traded for Randle, signed some average Shooting Guard and over the hill point guards - yes, that includes Rose. We had the chance to rebuild and trade up for guys like Cole Anthony. We could be looking at Cole Anthony, Frank (possibly Suggs/Cade), RJ, Obi, Mitch and even more high upside youth and picks. With that lineup we draft top three next summer again and maybe we’re playing in the Finals 4 years from now. This way, we’re looking at Evan Fournier for years from now.

How stupid is that?

I still want to blow it up in favor of a youth movement.

That’s underrating him. He’s a monster. Plus, we could have developed Frank into just that.

We suck at drafting.. ended up with Frank instead of Mitchell.. ended up with RJ in a 2 player draft and Tyler Herro and even Garland look more promising right now.. Knox instead of SGA, Michael Porter, Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges.. that rebuild thing only works if your FO has a good eye for talent…

I think it's going to be Scott Perry because of his relationship with Chauncey Billups from their Pistons' days, and also because any other person they hire will want to fire him to bring in their own head coach.
