it wasn't an easy game. With Book out and Cade playing better and better this was a close one. Jerami Grant is a stud, so good as an all around SF.

CP3 dominated this game, 12 assists but he did a lot of "hockey assists" too.

Ayton and Bridges played REALLY well. Shamet, Cam Payne and Cam Johnson added that much needed scoring for this one and McGee this a terrific job other than some bad fouls.

Glad you're seeing it with DA. On every one of CP3's assist to shooters in the P&R, DA was being doubled on the roll from the weakside, freeing up the shooter. Can't fault the Pistons, given how badly DA was beating them up early (as always). Those assists belong to the both of them. Their P&R looks nothing like Steve and Amare's, but it's nearly as effective (biggest differences are how frequently Amare got the And-1, and how frequently Nash got right to the rim), and obviously, the difference between those pairs on defense is night and day.

Get your lady friend involved, that's why I did and now we watch games together :D

Yeah, in the future for sure. We are just getting started (I am 40 and i've known her since I was 19 though, just decided to give a relationship a go finally). If things work out, no way I can miss Suns games. We are going to the zoo today, but gonna try and get us home before the game tonight and watch more than the last few minutes.

I wasn't sure if we were going to pull out the win last night. We had a solid lead, and then lost it. Many guys stepped up, and our bench and/or second string guys were excellent. I am so glad Johnson is out of that shooting slump. If he just had a little more speed, he could start for many teams in the league. Dude just makes smart plays, and seems to always be cutting at the right time. It is sickening to know that if we had McGee, we would have won a chip last year. Shamet did a good job stepping into the starting position for Book.

Hope Booker gets healthy soon, and this team continues to play for each other, and win games.

Thank you!!

You could to repost the 1st half of your post in virtually in numerous games. Alot of the Ayton haters don't really know basketball that well and don't know what they're watching.

He does alot of little things for this team and alot of what he does, doesn't show up in the boxscore. His gravity on offense is so important. He draws so much attention away from our guards.

Not to mention how his mere presence is a deterrent from guys driving into the lane and attempting as many shots where they'd like to get to.

Last night felt weird to me. our ball movement was significantly worse than usual. I wonder if it was a big-brain move by Monty to not give the Warriors more opportunities to scout our plays without Booker. Couple of CP3's turnovers were very unusual for him.

I'd chalk that up to human nature, get a big lead against a bad team and you subconsciously take your foot off the gas for a bit.
