I don't think there are a whole lot of choices when the NBA offices issue a ruling. It's kinda like when the SEC comes knocking. You say "yes sir" and comply.

Two teams I don’t know what to make of still are Cleveland and Washington, and Cleveland is just thrashing the Wizards right now. Garland and Allen are a good young foundation for them. And then you throw in a future superstar like Mobley, and they’re gonna be good for a while.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong

Sexton’s injury was a much needed clarifying event for that organization. I always believed Garland was the guy and that Sexton would ultimately hold him back in Cleveland. The organization needed this to show them the way forward.

Sucks for Sexton who is super easy to root for and is fun to watch. But yeah, Cleveland is a major up and comer and will be around for a long time. As ridiculous as Mobley is already, he’s just barely scratching the surface. Hell, I think he’s still growing into his body. He’s on the path to elite level stardom.

It’s certainly not not good.

Miami Heat… Bulls are farther down the list

Oh wait, we have the lowest point total in any game, no? 49 points or something?

My opinion on both teams

Washington wins games with their depth. Montrez Harrell comes in and straight dominates teams in the paint and has been their best player so far. Their starting lineup has been a disappointment so far as Beal and Dinwiddie haven't played well together and these two are the ones Washington needs to step up if they're going to make some noise. Beal himself has played terrible and I wonder if the new rule changes are affecting his game since his 3pt% is down to 27% and his TS% is at 52%. Washington will get Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant back which may add a spark to the team but they need Beal and Dinwiddie to play well to be more than a play-in team IMO.

Never thought Cleveland's lineup with 3 bigs lineup would work but here we are. Mobley and Allen are awesome on both ends but what really makes the lineup work IMO is their ability to defend the rim and play well against switches. Garland is good he was good last year as well but the two bigs elevate Cleveland to playoff team.

While I like to see guys rewarded with better oportunities when they merit them I sure hope we can keep Marc Eversley. At least until a better situation comes up for him after he and AK finish rounding out the roster here. Portland is in need of a complete rebuild. AK and ME have done a remarkable job within a short time. They work well together. They compliment each other. I want to be selfish and hope ME sticks around until t least our first Finals appearance in 2023.

I always wonder who is ground zero when this happens. Coby found out first, then Javonte, now half the Hornets roster has it. And they just played the Bucks.

Now I wouldn't be surprised if Giannis gets it from Lamelo. They did a jersey swap. Something that is outlawed from the league.

So when they were frantic about getting those jerseys back, I guess they did their CDC due dilligence.

Ground zero is always the question. Hornets probably lose next 5.

Sure hope Bulls don’t have anymore spread.

Knicks down again now to Denver by 16 points in the 2nd qtr. Why? They will pack the paint and try to collapse and give up open 3s. Last year, teams were not shooting too well vs Knicks so they were able to win those games.

This year, more and more teams have figured out Thibs' D, and now they are knocking down 3s and making Thibs Knicks defense look stupidly bad now.

Not surprised.

Knicks down 20+ for the second time in a row now - the difference being Denver didn’t let them back in the game like we did. They did massively overachieve last year.

I was so right about Garland. Wanted Paz to trade up for him.

I was so wrong about Mobley. My God is he an impact player. KG vibes.

Coming into the season I thought the Knicks would drop a bit in the standings. Not because they're not a good team (they're good), but because other teams improved.
