Game 24: Heat at Bucks - 12/4/21 - 7:00 - BSWI

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Dec 3, 2021 8:22 pm

Tucker will get his ring. That's cool I have nothing against him, he wanted to stay (if the price was right). I'll applaud him before the game and root against him during the game. And nothing against the Bucks for not re-signing him. We've debated that ad nauseum. I'm good.

Butler is out.
Whiplash Morris is out.
Bam is out.

They whipped us last month, we were without Jrue, Portis and of course Brook.

Giannis expected back.

Let's start a new winning streak.

GO BUCKS.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Guard the two white guys and we’ll be fine.

Boogie has "left foot soreness". But will likely play.

Love when Giannis pops up on the injury report with a random injury every couple of months.

NBA INJURY ALERT: Bucks PF/C Giannis Antetokounmpo (We can probably win this with one without him) is doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Heat.

If we win the championship again, my excitement level will be a 9.9/10. But it won't quite be 10/10 without PJ.

Maybe I am just being too pessimistic, but I feel like without Giannis we could still lose at home to the Heat's JV team playing on the road on the 2nd night of a back to back.

I feel it's mostly because Middleton won't show up.

As a fan I understand taking care of the big guy to make sure he's as close to 100% as possible in April.

As a fan I was looking forward to this one. Now no Giannis or Butler or Bam. Damn.

I don't understand why "load management" has to mean sitting a guy for the whole game. Like, play them 20-24 minutes. Are the players concerned about their per game stats?

Maybe just giving the muscles complete rest to repair and recover.

Honestly I remember I played football the other day after six months and i played limited minutes and I was sore for days. I had to go to my physio. I wouldn't have been able to play a other game that week.

Obviously an ametueur weekend warrior and a professional athlete aren't the same thing, but I could definitely see benefit in skipping a game completely to give the muscles and joints rest/recovery for a couple extra days.

Even when I was physically active 4-6 days a week, sometimes I took a day off if I could feel my body needed an extra rest day.

They should at least pretend it's a back or shoulder related injury...
