This is what happens when your star players team up and don’t believe you need a coach. They would rather have someone that focusses on showcasing your stars talents.

Feels like that last Patty layup was our first fast break points of the season.

We got lucky that Minnesota can't buy a bucket right now because we would have gotten run off the floor

This is simply Durants team guys and that’s something we have to live with including the coach. It is what it is.

It was ugly, but I'll take it.

If we get blown out tomorrow versus the Bulls, I won't be shocked.

Great interview with Mills. He knows we are a long ways from where we need to be with developing an offensive flow. I sure hope we learn from these games and find the answer. I think we have some missing pieces honestly. Millsap has been a disappointment and teams have consistently found ways to take advantage of LMA on switches. We also got killed in the paint this game. Who is coaching our defense and helping with communication there?

This crap screaming we in world of trouble right now. This is some ugly games. We got nothing going, like at all. Rotations, set plays, D, I mean you name it. I'm horrified right now.

We need D'Antoni more than Kyrie or anything else. We need coach period.

Just some thoughts:

I've been optimistic all season, but I'm starting to get a little worried with Harden... Is he playing tentative / at half speed to preserve himself? (Something he's never done in the past and paid the price for come playoff time...)

Also am I the only one who wouldn't mind a Mike James signing? The team needs someone who will inject energy and passion... As the FA wire is thin I wonder if the solution isn't overseas...

He is preserving himself. We are also missing another ball handler. Mills is a shooter and role player, he really doesn’t drive and kick the ball and lacks a mid range game like Irving has. That is a problem. Iam just going to pray he comes back because there is really no way to replace him at this point.

No he doesnt have the burst and hes trying to hide it.

I hope he commits himself and takes this seriously going forward or this could all pass him and us by.

At what point does the Nash experiment end? This team isn’t coming close to winning anything with him. Struggling against average teams to pull out a W and really struggle against good teams.

Bulls are a +3.5 underdog tonight, I'm tempted to bet the spread and money line. The Nets look absolutely atrocious

Timberwolves are annoying and pesky tough game but I’ll take it, win is a win.

You guys don’t realize the “ugly” game is the pace Twolces wanted. They are a tough defensive team and did their job in not giving us good looks. We won because we are the better team with a solid closer, that’s our MO. If we played Good D last night, we could have had more fast break points off turnovers but we sucked defensively and they killed us in the paint and they got a lot of drives. Great teams find ways to win, that’s what the Nets did. Tonight will be a tough one but no one should overreact win or lose. Nets need the energy they came out against the Celtics and I do believe in time it will come. Harris is out and IMO Kyrie will eventually be back.

None of us here are gambling degenerates here but if we were I'd say the Bulls are EASY money  We were in a dog fight last night and the Bulls are one of the faster, more energetic teams in the league
