Re: Bulls vs Nets @Barclays 12-4 7pm
Miscellaneous x’s and o’s stuff:
1. Can’t forget about our problems with zone. Refer GTs Hornets and Knicks for this discussion.
2. Attacking the ball handler defensively when the that ball handler is also a #1 option. This can disrupt to cripple an offense that relies on this.
3. Having Durants man be a ball handler to take him out of the defense and to make him work and tire him out. Especially useful it’s it’s a straight pf vs pf matchup .
4. Gotta shore up the interior defense regardless of personnel . This concept I don’t totally understand but it’s called hedging on the wings. Basically send a defender to either side of the post to deny entry .Typically done by a center , here DJj. Heck maybe even double hedging . Shut that sh down. Then the backend of the defense will be responsible for rotating and recovery which seems doable with our speedy smaller lineups.
Granted that’s a concept D but I remember thibs running that here in the past I admit I dont know how to execute it perfectly . It’s just my swing at a strategy to shore up one of major deficiencies from last game .
5. There’s a possibility we have a nice home court presence at Barclays. Opposing Teams often hear Chants for them. Let’s the give the crowd something to cheer for.

My keys to a Bulls win:
1) Make our 3's at 37%+
2) Force Harden to be inefficient and into TO's
3) Win the RB battle

This team is worse without Caruso. Hope he plays.

We really need Caruso this game. The Nets are gonna get up for this game for sure after we beat them last time and we are right behind them in the East.

No Caruso or Javonte possibly? Ayo, TBJ & DJJ have to step up. I think we'll be fine.
Bottom line is, if the Zach-DeMar-Vooch show up like they have the two games prior, we're going to be tough for any team

the first time we played them yes, b2b and 3rd game in 4 nights on the road. Tonight its a b2b but 3rd game in "5" nights at home. Who knows, maybe kyrie kept them all up late last night talking about his philosophical views on life.

There's been no subsequent update since Greenberg tweeted this yesterday.

I expect a 40 point blow out win. Anything less and i will open several threads about trading anyone who did play below average.
PS. I lied.
Any win and/or a poster dunk by Caruso on harden and ill be a happy happy man.

Nets playing back to back.
Since Nets are small I’d start TBJ.
I like Caruso off the bench. We need him tonight.

Lavine needs to come out focused and play like a man on a mission, and not like a little child who looks to belong on the same court as Durant. He needs to grow up and exert his will on his opponents.

MY WIFE GOT ME TICKETS FOR TONIGHT AND JUST SURPRISED ME!!!! (she bought them before the season started, can't believe she was able to keep it secret!)
I'm so hyped. I haven't seen a Bulls game since a Bulls v. Nets like 7 years ago. I hope Caruso plays. I think it will be intense regardless, but Caruso is certainly one of the key elements to ensuring ultra competitiveness and floor intensity.
And I'm hyped to see KD. I feel like he's really healthy again and he's playing at real top level again!
Also, Barclays is legit an amazing basketball arena for a live game. The food is off the chain, that acoustics are tremendous, it honestly feels like an amazing concert, and even the seats up at the highest tier feel directly over the court.

That’s awesome! Enjoy the game! Hope both teams bring it tonight.

Re: Bulls vs Nets @Barclays 12-4 7pm
Very cool, RastaBull! I got to see LeBron play at Barclays back when the Nets were still irrelevant. Amazing experience. Those nosebleed seats were so steep that I was too nervous to creep down to get a beer, though. Felt weird. I agree that the arena experience was terrific for the most part. I hope you have a blast, my man.
Go Bulls! Let's get Rasta and his awesome sounding wife a win!

Enjoy your time and what a nice move by your wife
