Freethrows cost us the game. This team is right where it belongs at .500

What do you all think Kobe would do in this situation instead of Bron?

He would win the freaking game.

Lakers main shooters like Melo, Monk and Ellington combine for 8 of 15 from 3 and yet the team just shot 36% :nonono:
how is that possible? Bec the self appointed shooters Davis, THT and Lebron combined for 2 of 14 with James taking 8 as compared to 5 FTs. :banghead:
They lose by 4 pts with Davis and James combine for 6 missed FTs.
Vogel's trapping schemes on George by anticipated by Lue and paid dearly for it by leaving shooters like Kennard and Morris.
THT with the lowest TS% who played more than 10 minutes, 9 attempts for 8 points, tied for 3rd for highest DRTG, tied for 2nd with Lebron in ORTG for this game.

THT can’t keep getting 28 min a night while Ellington is only getting 20. Ellington is a much better player and fit right now. I don’t want THT completely cut from the rotation but he needs his minutes cut.

I am not a fan of Nunn. Not a bad player, but not a great player either. He is the only trade asset with value outside of THT.

See if THT can improve as a team defender and rotate well defensively after 1 or 2 months. Under Vogel, he has all the chance to learn to play defense. IF he can improve in this area, he is the best young core of the lakers at this point to go forward.

This group of new lakers is playing better as more games are played. I still want to see them making minor changes to the roster to balance offense and defense. You put WB, LBJ, AD, Melo and Monk out at the same time is the recipe of losing points. What we are lacking is a bigger wing and a stretch 5 who can defend. Trade a Nunn for either a wing or a stretch 5 and waive DJ and sign someone to round the roster out would be my preferred moves.

Wing trade possible target: Josh Jackson
Wing FA possible target : Justin Jackson, Lance Stephenson, promoting Sekou or Brown
Center trade possible target : Mo Bamba, Mo Wagner (Both give you extra 3-pt threat to play with big 3)
Center FA possible target : Harry Giles

Clippers 4-14
Lakers 2-14

From 3 point line and yet they keep on shooting

this is fooking boring

The reliance on the 3 point shot is a large reason the NBA is becoming unwatchable in many instances. Pick and roll, toss... chuck. Repeat and rinse.

The big 3 aren't going anywhere

I love Westrbrook always have always will...

Lebron never wanted him on this team, but at least he brought us AD ....

That said. I'm not a AD fan, always soft and can't play the 5 even though she damn well should. Such a Soft ass ... ... ... ... ... We should take a look for AD/Lillard trade heck I'd include THT and others for that.

Westbrook If we were to get Lillard I'd trade him, but only in that case LOL

I've never liked Bron much but I'd take 100 of him over one Westbrook and 10,000 Westbrooks over just allowing Melo in the Building.
