Sigh, if we had Derozan instead of Harden we win this one by 10 at least.

What a waste of KD.

The most annoying loss of the season for me.

We again prove we can’t beat the top teams. How the hell did the team go from waxing these damn teams last year to rheir asses handed to them. No Kyrie really exposes how flawed we are. It’s the truth and we can’t win without him. At least Kyrie masks the blemish known as Harden.

I am aware I said not to overreact but Harden was pathetic and couldn’t hit many shots. We keep placing faith in him that he will recover but I am starting to doubt myself here. I really think he’s regressed.

This team is not getting to the East finals as constructed, nevermind winning a title.

Glad I bet on Chicago tonight. I knew we were going to get beat.

At least some sweetener for you , good job betting

There is gonna be voices , B2B , We got best East record , its early December , some might even say Harden King of Brooklyn ( prok hint hint )

I Call it BS , we are turrrible ( chuck voice)

Role players i have no problem with , BB , Bembry, LMA , Cam progress, Mills

Against good teams Harden disappear, he isn’t even worthy a good role player title , call me a hater but so far beside 2 games he sucks , sometimes less sometimes more but in general he sucks

You've got anyone good enough to replace him?

There's a rift between Harden and coaching stuff. Like it or not that's fact, his comments and play should be telling rest what's up.

He needs to go home and figure it out. He has a lot s*** going on in his head. Till than we ain't s*** either way.

Harden is a completely different player now. He’s really hard to watch

Absolutely disgusting game.

I've been optimistic about this team. But Harden is a SHELL of himself.

This is a 1 man team right now. KD has to do everything. Aldridge is our 2nd best player.

Harden literally cost us the game. Couldn't make a shot. And kept missing layups the whole game.

Enough of blaming Nash. He can't force Harden to stop sucking.

Kyrie is 1000x better than whatever this version of Harden is. We will not win a Championship until he gets back to at least All Star level.

Right now hes a glorified Brandon Ingram.

We are a sec rounder at best without Kyrie. If we get last seasons Harden, then we possibly could. But that’s out the window now I think. Coming off that hammy injury, Harden is pretty much like CP3 when he pulled his hammy - no burst, rusty in his shots, inconsistent etc. CP3 looked awful that season with the Rockets which led to the Westbrook & CP3 trade. It took Cp3 a full year of recovery to get to where he is now. Will see how it goes for Harden but I am not hopeful. Of course, Ky coming back or a trade that returns a quality piece would help our chances of winning a title.

What Harden comments?

Either way this wasn't a surprise. Until we play with consistent effort on defense and constantly move the ball + emphasize spacing on offense - we're going nowhere. I'm impressed we didn't lose by 20 though.

Can't believe Harden and KD played 40 minutes each. And Claxton played no minutes. You can blame Nash if you want but this organization as a whole is completely lost right now.

Major depression. Iam not able to fully comprehend what has happened to my favorite player right now. I’m sticking by him though and will take the lumps and pray he gets his explosion and shots falling. We would have won this game if those gimmies had fallen. But that’s no excuse. He took the blame at least.

At least Harden have the balls to say "blame is on me "prop’s to him

He looks upset either about the game or there is a rift like Gtr suggested

Ok so we only took 9 free throws to their 27? I guess they're trying to make up for the 'free throw disparency" or whatever they call it. Either way , I keep saying these close games are going to bite us. We can't keep relying on KD/Patty etc.. to be clutch every game. Harden needs to wake tf up. We were b2b so I'll spare them but tough game. Lavine and Derozan seems to be a great duo.

If you were a Rocket turned Nets fan like me, think about how CP3 was like the year after he pulled his hammy. Harden is going through the same thing. It’s a much longer process than people think. like you said, support him through this tough times. He will come good eventually but it takes time..

Their 44+mil guys scored over 60 pts on 50+% shooting.

Harden went 5-21, 1-5 from 3 for 14 pts. He was azz last game too. You can't expect win with 45m guy playing like this, not happening.

Another thing, glad Harden didn't sign that max extension we wanted to give him . If he's going to get out of shape every offseason and have to take him 30 games into the season to get back to normal, then we should look around because it'll only get worse. He is so great, but it's so annoying when he plays lazy and careless. At times he just throws the ball away or drain the shot clock for a step back 3. It's horrible basketball. And that laziness won't win a title.

KD being frustrated and expressing it explicitly in the press conference is definitely a sign that he would love to ring Kyrie's neck right now. Marks and Co need to take care of this man and help assemble a solid team around him. KD deserves better than this.

I don’t doubt his heart and his desire to win. CP3 definitely took a lot of heat after his hammy and became “the worst contract in the NBA”. When he was traded for Westbrook I was physically sick. To come so close to winning it all and see it ripped apart ….   We can’t see the same thing happen again. I have faith. Just have to get through this time.
