I happen to be a critic of Zubac in crunchtime, not a Prime Time Player. But Ty is giving him another shot in Prime Time, and I approve. He's still only 24 and has already established himself as a solid NBA rotation player.

It's only early December. Personally I think Zu has hit his NBA ceiling. He has no offensive skills beyond 3 feet and is a far weaker rebounder than DeAndre or Drummond who are playing for the minimum. But Zu shows fire and he IS a Clipper. He is NOT killing us out there.

I know that is goes against the percentages, but if a guy (Valincunias, Davis, etc) who doesn't shoot that great from 3 starts knocking them down- you have to guard him- there isn't nothing you can do about it as Lue indicated in his post-game interview.

This team is fooling themselves if they think they’re ok. How many games where they recognize what they’re doing wrong and then continue to do it again and again and again? They may not need to hit all the panic buttons but PG and Jackson cannot say we’re in good shape, no need to panic, and then go out and lead the charge in a lot of what’s wrong with the team.

It is clear as daylight why we're having this bad run. Yeah we did beat the Lakers on a day the stars were aligned.
We're losing because PG, our star player has been ass. Period. I feel he's forcing the issue too much. His TOs are momentum breaking. He needs to get the ball where he can score from or create for himself.
I think both PG and Lue are smart enough to see that and they'll figure things out.
I'm not worried yet because I believe we can still go on a decent run and we're not out of anything yet.

Totally agree, but he's our only hope. He did the same exact thing last year but we had Kawhi to bail him out all the time. IT's also a talent issue, even with PG playing MVP level we're at best maybe a 5-6 seed.

Based on their time here, Jackson is an enigma and PG has never admitted the team is struggling ever. It's times like this I miss Bev, the one problem w getting Kawhi/PG is that neither is a real leader. Lue is pretty soft too.

I think people getting upset though need to realize this team wasn't doing much anyway. The Lakers game got our hopes up, but at best I'm hoping we can knock off the Lakers in the play in and call it a successful season.
