yeah i use to not look at the schedule but now i do and patterns emerge. Chicago beating the nets twice is nice but we had an schedule advantage in both games. Just like how the Heat had one in the sole game we played them this season.

Saw some knick fans float the idea of trading DRose here, wonder if we could put a package together to get him and Taj. Thibs would have a meltdown for sure.

With AK here, and Chicago being a boasting a large Serbian population, it seems like a perfect fit. Bulls need to put themselves in a good position to acquire him 2 years from now. This draft and whenever we get the Portland pick (hopefully this year or next) will be extremely important in case we need to provide prospects for another team to eat a contract (derozen) in order to max Jokic. If Jokic falls through, you got for LaMelo the next year.

is there any indication that jokic is unhappy in denver? they're gonna do whatever they can to hold onto him

I've never heard them. But MPJ back surgery can come into play here. Who is his co-star? Murray? Sooner or later you want to be playing for titles.

I don't doubt they will do everything. But, as a Serbian mutt from Chicago, I can tell you that the tribal stuff is reaaaaaaaally important to some folks. Not to me, but definitely to some. The relationship to AK would matter as well.

I highly doubt Joker chooses to leave Denver given the financials make it highly irrational. But if there is one thing even a cursory glance at our particular cultural history will tell you, it's that passion often rules reason.

i know that there is a large ethnic serb population in chicago. was hoping to find concrete data on various US cities as a comparison point, but was unable. supposedly LA, NYC and...milwaukee (as a percentage, anyway) also have large such populations

we certainly don't need more guards. and there's no way we trade lonzo or caruso (the latter a fan favorite and defensive lynchpin) to bring in a retread when the FO is trying to make their own distinct mark on the organization

id assume it would be Coby and others on the way out, i think Rose would be a nice addition no matter the history. If Lonzo goes down we really dont have another pure point, just guys that can run the offense but thats different. I know Taj would be a perfect fit.

When does the all-star voting starts? I really thought it normally starts way earlier???

When we have 2 sure fire All-Stars, the all-star voting can't start soon enough.

Thibs took Kemba Walker out of the rotation. He doesn't want Coby.

He hasn't put it together yet, but Quigley is already a better version of Coby.

Shall we just call Giannis the center for the East All Stars and be done with it?

1) Embiid - 54% TS%, scoring efficiency way down from last year
2) Vuc - fell off the cliff, scoring efficiency way down from last year
3) Bam - hurt for the next month, scoring efficiency way down from last year

So much for the new era for the Big Man. Blech.

Well Allen most definitely will make the All-Star team. But yeah, you're right, the big men have fallen off some this season for sure.

Pretty please for the life of me can we go on a really long win streak? I know the schedule has alot to do with it, but man if teams seem to do it far more than we do. We only won 7 straight 5 years ago when Niko was going off. But other than that its been 4 at the most.

Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen until the new year possibly, considering injuries and players being out due to covid. But it sure would be nice to get a nice long win streak going.

Since beating the Rockets, they've been hitting their stride. Goes to show that having more veterans can be a positive as far as winning goes. Though, I'm not sure winning so much is going to help their cause long terms because as far as talent, the Rockets still need another hit in the upcoming draft.

i'm sure they will at some point this year.

again, they've only been together for 24 games.

At this rate it's gonna be Bulls and Houston in the finals

I remain wholly unimpressed by Matas and would be very upset not only if we trade up fo him, but if we even draft him at 11

Weird I think this is the season where the big man made a comeback.

Jonas Valanciunas is averaging 19 & 12 with 47% 3P shooting.
Gobert is 15 & 14.
Jarrett Allen is averaging 18 & 11 and keeps getting better.
Evan Mobley is going to be 20 & 10 before long, even sharing the floor with 2 7 footers.
Porzingis is 23 & 10.
There's still KAT & Ayton.

It's crazy because even a team once deemed the worst in the league in the Houston Rockets can win 6 in a row, but as good as we've been this season, our highest win streak was still only 4.
